What is the point in a solo album if it sounds like your main band? Nada- and never the intention of Freddie. If you had a brain go and listen to the interviews where he said he was happy that he could use an orchestra because "Brian recreated everything on his fucking guitar" . I do not hear too much terrible parts on Mr Bad Guy. You obviously do and you surely think it was the reason for a "breakup" as all clueless BR lovers and newbies think nowadays. Sad side effect of the movie.
Check my details - I've been here since 2004, - with only one login - idiot!
Incredible. I didn't say it should sound like the main band. I said it lacked the quality of other Queen albums BECAUSE when Freddie was left to his own devices, there were no other band members influencing the end result. It doesn't have to sound like Queen, you fool. Roger's solo albums do NOT sound like Queen, but they're better than Mr Bad Guy. Mainly, because Roger wants to produce rock and roll rather than "Liberace".
I didn't refer to one track. I'm talking about the whole album. In places it's terrible - regardless of what Freddie thought of the finished product. It did not have any decision-making influences from the other band members and consequently fell well short of the usual Queen standard.
You are a Freddie stepford, not doubt at all.
You are seismically challenged musically, but being devoid of even the most rudimentary intelligence, this renders you incapable of being aware of your own thickness.. The only point of your presence here is our amusement. Unfortunately, you've become the "banging the same relentless, futile drum" (now unfunny) court Jester - whose joke no longer works. Even the Canned Laughter operator has fallen asleep.
