The original film ran too fast, so I to make it 24fps (using Virtualdub), again, this was only a quick test/sync so hopefully, when I actually sit down properly and sync it, it shouldn't be too bad.

But it's not simply a case of it running fast, some parts actually run slow.

It’s odd, during NIH when Freddie is about to throw the flowers, it looks like someone down the line has made it slow motion or something.

The audio speed will probably have to be adjusted to match the video length.

All I've done so far is convert it to 24fps (which fixed the majority of the sync issues) and I'm currently fixing the speed fluctuations of the tape. Do you not still have the tape, so a new flawless transfer could be done?
The audio is fine as I don't hear any speed fluctuations with it, the quality is fantastic.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the audio, just that it might have to be adjusted to match whatever the new video length you end up with is (currently 12:11).
As regards the video, why not ask Ghostwithasmile for his NTSC transfer to work with?

Hmm I could do that, but let me see where I get with this current tape. It's rendering now so I'll get everyone's opinions.

Here is how 02/03/77 sounds with your new video.
Pretty sure it fits better than the new Millard.

I wouldn't say without a doubt.[/QUOTE]
I would.
At 5:09 of Chin's video there's a "hey" from Mercury in the March 2 audio that doesn't show up in the footage.
And at 5:14 Roger plays quarter notes on the snare and hi-hat four times, but on the March 2 audio he plays four tom rolls.
100% the video is from March 3.

Very well done Chin! Huge thanks for this.

Got a bit of a surprise coming up, I discovered on YouTube two edits of a video which was created for some competition for a fan-made Sheer Heart Attack music video. Anyway, in those videos are low gen snippets of the Inglewood 8mm!
However, they are mostly mashed-up with random and unrelated footage, but I am currently rendering an audio sync with JUST this material and I've also created a source merge using the material which doesn't have anything plastered over it :)
Here's both of the videos on YouTube:
