It’s not gonna be a perfect merge until we get a raw copy of this transfer, because of all the extensive editing like the speed up and slowing down.

Do we have any idea of who filmed those bits?
Getting a proper scan of the film (at the proper speed too) would surely yield better results.

A decent transfer of the faded reel exists.
There are also some low generation VHS transfers with better colour circulating, but they all run fast and suffer from the same speed fluctuations.

This is how it went down on the 2nd.

This glorious footage (especially that sweet camerawork at The Prophet's Song climax) unfortunately does not belong with the new Millard Tape.
This is not polished, needs more work, but it's done with respect. Take a look and share your thoughts.

That is a reasonable possibility, although it's a long shot that the filmer would've had the same seat both nights.

It's also a reasonable possibility you are now with doubt.

Carry on old chap, I'm just stating the obvious.

Thank you for considering my input, I really hope nobody gets worked out or upset,
I just wanted to point out that a lot of discrepancies are gone if you use the 2nd.

But of course, if you transfer the original 8mm and try to find optimal speed,
please do try to fit both the 2nd and the 3rd to be sure you have the correct night.
I put my money on the 2nd.

I am glad to help if I can with further investigating.
I also don't believe the footage comes from both nights.
