The lyrics are not about AIDS - Freddie wrote Bo Rhap in the 70s and didn't even know he had AIDS until many, many years later.
Not only that Alli, AIDS wasn't known about until the 80's. Freddie couldn't have had any idea whatsoever. Good post.

Actually I think you're right it must be about having aids, cause in 75 Aids was the hip disease to have. John and Roger both flirted with it briefly before giving it away for the hot space tour.
