Difficult choice, but i think i could'nt burn them, it would be to me as if i'd hurt Freddie...

Gimme another week or so and you won't want to burn the diaries. You'll want to burn me.

I'll probably keep them and read them. When your gone are you really going to care if someone reads your diary.
Lets assume Freddie kept a load of diary's and just before his death, someone stole them and then sold the rights to them to a publisher who then printed them. Would you then buy them because your a fan of Freddie and collect everything to do with him, or burn them because these were the personal and private thoughts of him?
NEVER burn ANY book. Burning books is totalitarianism already: it means censorship.

I'd read them.

I would read them... If I read stuff that was too personal, I would probably skip it, but, yeah, I don't think I'd be able to help my curiosity.
Dusta · Member since
I do not believe I posess the self discipline required to resist reading them, unfortunately.
StormtrooperInStilettos · Member since
Yeah... I'd read them too.

I wouldn't. Otoh I would read Shakespeare's diaries. Any chance you've got them, fatty?

Here's another question:
What would you do if you found out the person that gave Freddie AIDS was still alive? ( Highly doubtful...)
i agree. i think, nobody, who really wants to keep totally priavcy would ever write a diary. and if he had written a diary, i would also read it.
well, what a question. i'd do nothing, of course. i can't imagine there was an aids infected person who said "yeah i'm gonna kill this freddie mercury with aids". freddie himself is as responsible for getting the virus as the other person he got it from.

Man....
You guys all have your arses covered anyway. In life, he was extremely private ; on the subject of his own mortality, he basically didn't give much of a shit as to what happened after he was gone..... there's something for both camps, and all of it comes from the same guy.
