Uh YEAH,
I would read them. I'd probably frame them and hang them on my wall. When I got tired of them I'd pack em up and sell em on Ebay so everyone else can read. And so would everybody else on here who replied that they would burn them. What a lie.

I would feel GUILTY about reading my sister's personal diary.
I would feel GUILTY about going through my brother's room looking for booze and porno mags just to rat him out.
I would feel GUILTY if my mom told me a secret and then I went and told other people.
I would feel GUILTY and sad if I found out something about my dad he didnt want me to know about.
Why? Because I have deep emotional feelings for these people.
But as much as I love and respect Freddie Mercury's talent and.....his gorgeous looks.....................
I have no emotional ties to the man. I have no deep feelings for him. He's dead, died before I was born and there's nothing left of him.
He can't be hurt by anything now.
Anyone who says they would feel GUILTY about reading his personal stuff is LYING, otherwise you wouldn't be on queenzone discussing him.
Just that fact alone means we're all just a tad bit obsessed. And that obsession wouldn't allow us to do something as ludicrous as burn his personal diary. That to me, would be sadder than just reading it.

I also think he hasn't wrote anything..
But if there was a diary of him.. I really don't know:S I think we already know so much about him, i guess he wanted details to stay in closet. if he wrote... I doubt he will write in his diary what was he thinking when writing Boh Rap (it was the purpuse to make us confused! he would never mention this in the diaryXD), we might probably know.. ehh.. WHO-WHEN-WHERE?XD WAh and about his loves, too, of course. Well maybe if he was writing f.ex. of their rehearsals and tours and funny (or just unforgettable) coincidences during them, it would be fun, i would love to know those details:] And how they started to knowing each other, about songs, how the ideas appeared(except Boh Rap..XD).

I think we can "know" Freddie through his songs perfectly. He wrote them as clearly as it can be.

as about Boh Rap, in my opinion it's kind of a "random thoughts" song, and most probably about him? Though i will never understand why "mama killed the man".

And i have a question about Freddie, that i'm really curious about (haven't read any book about him yet) - how frequently he was seeing his family when he started carieer(mom, dad and sister)? Was he visiting them at all? They lived in Londond, too, after moving, for a long time?

Huh? Can't you see that he's telling his mother HE killed a man.
"Mama, just killed a man" translates to "Mama, I just killed a man"

If it was based on Fatty's version of the diaries I'd watch them

At least you would get a laugh.

If it were his diaries, then no.

But if it were his memoires, yes...

Imagine Freddie did plan to publish his memoires with thoughts about God and the world - being and intelligent person - and someone 'destroyed' them after his death...

Daria.Thats an interesting thought. But i think that Freddie, being an intelligent person, would have entrusted someone with the job of publishing these memoires.Probably thats why he did not do that.

I'd read them, but I would not buy them. The voyeur in me would be too curious, but the moralist in me could not feed that supply and demand.

Nowdays there's a fad for sex tapes not diaries. I mean who does diaries nowdays! Unwanted girls, right.
