Bumpy-poo. Hopefully, this will generate some more interesting speculation.

Chaka, I seem to recall you had a list of tracks that were unreleased (hopefully, you still read this board), and while you admitted that the presence of some were dubious, you still came up with a fairly complete list. Any chance of you reposting that list?

And if John S. Stuart is out there, I'm sure we'd all still be interested in hearing about your extensive knowledge of Queen's sessions!

I'm pretty sure 99.9 % of the Queen songs have alternative takes, there's no use in naming, or releasing them all, is it. Just look at the beatles, there are 100s of bootlegs with unreleased stuff only. And we're talking of a band here that excisted for just 10 years, and released almost everything they wrote.

and for these:
I Can't Live With You, Roger Vocals demo, 1990
You Don't Fool Me, Roger vocals demo, 1995
Driven By You, rumored Queen version from Innuendo sessions, 1990

they don't excist

Minidisc? How can that be? Considering that this technology was proposed in May 16 '91 in Japan. And then released in late '92!

Peace,
Adam.

I heard (and have) Nevermore alt. version, and others mainly Q/Q2/SHA studio sessions not listed.

And "Delilah, Innuendo demo, 1990" is surely fake.
· Member since
Pablo, are you sure you don't have just the BBC sessions?
· Member since
Yes, I said they were studio sessions. I just named them because excepting Sessions 1 and 3 they were not released and were not listed.

Adam "Minidisc? How can that be? Considering that this technology was proposed in May 16 '91 in Japan. And then released in late '92"

Adam, you are of course, correct. Mini disc was not invented pre 1990. Therefore an entry like - "Highlander TV Series Intro Version Unreleased: Home Mini-Disc" - does NOT refer to the ORIGINAL master recording, but a recording which exists in MY personal collection. Therefore, "Silver Salmon" could also be correctly (personally) catalogued as "Unreleased: Home Mini-Disc".

However, some comprehensive lists that are repeatedly posted (here and on other sites) are actually plagerised from my own, including the senseless, out-of-context references to minidisc technology.

I actually I enjoy the confusion this creates - because it identifies those who are willing to pass of my work as their own.

Queen's career was over twice the length of that of the Beatles. At the moment, in public hands, there are about 100 hours of unreleased Beatles demos and alternate takes. There are about 100 minutes of such Queen material. In both cases, such material spreads only when collectors decide to spread it.

Shouldn't that tell us something about the difference between hardcore Queen and Beatles collectors who have had access to such material?

Just some food for thought.
