Highlander TV Series Intro Version Unreleased: Home Mini-Disc

I know there is a TV outro version that contains the last 30 seconds of the song as in the album, but with Freddie vocals removed. I have heard it once while watching the Higlander series on local TV. When I tried to tape it next week the ending has just the regular edit instead. I have never heard it again. I asked in several Highlander forums but never got a definitive answer.

There is a wealth of rare Queen material that will hopefully see the light of day.

I am really desperate to hear the 13-track version of Queen II, personally, although the two additional songs ('Deep Ridge' and 'Surrender To The City') are not quite as polished as the other eleven.
Brian May, I should say

Ah yes, Mr. Testicle. Care to add to this list?

Did Queen ever actually lay down a track of New Dark Ages, or was it just rehearsed? I thought I remember an old thread where it was mentioned they never properly recorded it. Of course, it's just speculation...A Queen version of Magic is Loose would certainly be fun to hear, however!

Would you want these tracks to be released as:

1.- One or more box sets.
2.- Albums including the tracks in they original state.
3.- Albums reworking the original songs (MIH style)

My personal opinion is 2. And 3 for the unfinished demos. That would give me the sensation that the band is still alive. The box set would sound like a final stop.

1.- One or more box sets.

Ofcourse!

2.- Albums including the tracks in they original state.

Putting unfinished songs on an album with finished songs????

3.- Albums reworking the original songs (MIH style)

No way. Why on earth would they rework songs which weren't good enough as idea's or demo's.

A lot of people seem to forget that unfinished songs didn't get finished because they weren't good enough. So don't expect new 'Bohemian Rhapsodies' or 'Fairy Fellers'

FriedChicken is right. Number 1 (box set) is the best option.
That time will come, one day you'll see that i'll be dead and you will laugh!

By (2) I was meaning songs like Mad the swine, I go crazy, Stealin, and lot of finished others songs, mostly b-sides, that were never released in any album.

And by (3) I meant songs like It's a beautiful day, let me live, you don't fool me..... They were supposed to be unfinished demos originally. The reedition result wasn't so bad....

Brian and Roger said they're not going to do another MIH...

"The Hitman" (demo) - sung by Brian
"Headlong" (demo) - shortened version with no back vocals
"Headlong" (video version) - extra guitar bits
"Delilah" (demo) - early demo by Freddie and bass/drums/synth
"One year of love" (piano version) - can be heard in the Highlander movie.
"Who Wants To Live Forever" (video version) - well, I think you know the differences between this one and album/single versions.
There are a lot of versions could be add to the list and called as rare or unreleased...
[QUOTENAME]FriedChicken
The Almighty wrote: [/QUOTENAME]I'm pretty sure 99.9 % of the Queen songs have alternative takes, there's no use in naming, or releasing them all, is it. Just look at the beatles, there are 100s of bootlegs with unreleased stuff only. And we're talking of a band here that excisted for just 10 years, and released almost everything they wrote.

and for these:
I Can't Live With You, Roger Vocals demo, 1990
You Don't Fool Me, Roger vocals demo, 1995
Driven By You, rumored Queen version from Innuendo sessions, 1990

they don't excist

So there might be a chance that Bohemian Rhapsody 7+ version does exist?

"Magic Is Loose, Queen version from The Game sessions, 1980"

Woah! That one stood out a mile for me. Is it possible, could this exist?

I love this song !!

I thought that there was enough material to do three box sets PLUS make all of the studio l.p.s into double c.d. sets...that's what I want!

This isn't comprehensive, just merely a skeleton list.

Definately exists! I've heard a recording of an early Queen-gig featuring a different version to the album version as an intro, and it sounded like a rougher version. It is possible that I shall get my hands on one or more live recordings of this track the coming week, so if I do, I shall do my best to upload these.
I've heard it too... I think the show you've heard is the same one as I have: Golders Green 73.
My heart got hijacked by you.......
