When did you noticed freddie was Gay and did it infect your love for Queen

I became a Queen fan after Freddie's death, but his sexuality never affected my love for the band. Personally, I don't think being gay or not changes their music.

Never really noticed until I joined Queenzone.

I knew he was gay since I first became a fan and that never changed my thoughts about the band or him. I guess it never bugged me cause I was used to it cause I have an uncle that is gay as well.

I knew he was gay when I started listening to Queen his sexuality was never an issue to me. He was a great musician with a brilliant voice and his sexuality did never have anything to do with it.

Since I had some close friends who were gay, I never felt Freddie's homosexuality as a problem for me listening to Queen music..

And since I had to love their music and not their bodies phisically, I can't see how Freddie's homosexuality could have influenced my behaviour...

It's private life, not my business...

it is an issue for some people - but it never was for me. My dad tried to explain that to me when I was 12 "you see... Freddie had... special friends" "Yeah dad, he was gay. So what?" It's never been an issue. All it did was fascinate me more so and because of his sexuality, I've been able to figure things out for myself. Freddie is first and foremost a musician here at QZ and a person's personal life and orientation shouldn't matter in the world of music.

Umm...FYI, homosexuality isn't an infectious disease.

I found out a few months after I started listening to Queen, but it didn't surprise me much. I never really cared, to be honest.

I knew from the beginning, and my opinion is the same now as it was then: I don't give a rat's ass.

I knew there was 'something' with Freddie when I became a fan at the age of 7, but I didn't find out WHAT it was until I was a bit older...

Never really had any effect on me or my being a fan.

Didnt bother me in the slightest, its the music that counts at the end of the day :)

Well, to be honest, when I first saw some of Queen's videos (I was 15 yrs old), I thought there was something special with the lead singer and I suspected he was gay. At that time, I hated them, I dunno why, I was thinking they were the crappiest band in the world (it had nothing to do with the gay issue)... and a month later, I was totally hooked while listening to my dad's ANATO vynil. I fell desperately in love with them and didn't give a damn if he was gay or not, however I found out he was homosexual after a few weeks and it didn't affect my love at all.
Before loving Queen, I must admitt I wasn't too keen on gay people (don't kill me, please). Afterwards... I dunno, I just found they're humans too. And when some stupid people I knew began to call Freddie names because he was gay, I just loved him more and more and never got ashamed of my fav singer.
