I hardly hear anything besides WWRY/WATC. In fact, I NEVER hear anything besides those two.
The entire The Works album. So Keep Passing the Open Windows and Man on the Prowl.
A local radio station did a tribute recently. They played the entire album. *gasp*
WOW - where in Aust are you from?? I never hear anything other than the standard 3 or 4 Queen songs (WWRY, WATC, STL KQ) but then I usually listen to my CD's for that reason.
BUT, did you notice (in Aust) when they promoted the final show of Friends recently they used "You're My Best Friend" as the background song - I couldn't believe Queen was coming out of my TV!!!!!!!

well here in PERU is usual to hear their most popular songs , you know, bites the dust ,bo rha,wwry,champions,killer queen,crazy little thing,break free,radio gaga,pressure,
but once i´ve in a local radio that played the whole wembley 86´cd,also some other radio played TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN, and other one played keep passing open windows

On In the Studio for ANATO they played Love of My Life, I'm In Love With My Car, Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, The Prophet's Song, '39 and Sweet Lady in addition to the usual You're My Best Friend and Bohemian Rhapsody. Then for the ITS episode on NOTW they played Spread Your Wings, Sleeping on the Sidewalk, All Dead All Dead, It's Late, Who Needs You and Get Down Make Love(which was occasionally played on rock radio) in addition to the normal WWRY/WATC. For the ITS studio on The Game I heard Dragon Attack, Coming Soon, Play the Game, Save Me, Rock It(Redbeard said Roger did vocal on the whole track), Sail Away Sweet Sister and Need Your Loving Tonight in addition to CLTCL and AOBTD. Other rarities I heard were the Live at Wembley and Live Killers albums in their entirety in 1992. I also heard the Brian Malouf remixes of Hammer to Fall and Under Pressure. I have also heard Tie Your Mother Down now and again. I Want it All, Headlong, Innuendo and The Show Must Go On all got tons of airplay when released on US rock radio! Music Choice has played Let Me Entertain You from Jazz.
Karen, I'm from Perth. I crapped my pants (no, not really) when the announcer said 'And tune in on Sunday as we pay tribute to the late Freddie Mercury with their 1984 album 'The Works''. I made sure I had NOTHING on to listen to that. I couldn't stop smiling. It would have indeed rocked if they could have played the entire Sheer Heart Attack or A Night at the Opera...heh, '39, Sweet Lady, Death on Two Legs, Good Company. Tee-hee!

When We Will Rock You was in Perth Queen was saturated. I could not turn on the radio with out hearing a Queen song. Not that it's a bad thing. A Kind of Magic and Radio Ga-ga were the main offenders.

Thanks for reminding me, NOTWMEDDLE. I've heard Liar and Let Me Entertain You on Music Choice, as well as the entire A Night At The Opera album on In The Studio and most of the Hammersmith '75 concert. Actually, the first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody was on Music Choice!
Just a few years ago I was listening to radio more frequently. My favourite stations were not the ones rotating overplaying the same 500 to 1000 songs, but the ones that also played "rare" songs on an infrequent basis. I was lucky to have heard almost all of Queen's A-side songs and also many B-side songs and album tracks. It was a great feeling to catch songs like "Need Your Loving", "Its Late", "Teo Torriate", "Las Palabras", "Seven Seas Of Rhye", "The World We Created", "Scandal", "Play The Game", "Mustapha", among other more lucky pop/rock classics. I've always thought that's the normal way. I find it stupid that some Queen songs are getting overplayed while other Queen classics are getting forgotten.
I forgot to mention Sheer Heart Attack, which was played in a show featuring German punkers "Die Toten Hosen" as DJs. They announced it saying something along the lines "one of the few decent songs amongst all the garbage that Queen produced".

I once heard Larry Lurex's 'I Can Hear Music' on a charity day for my local station. You had to pledge to hear a song and this bloke from Morcambe (was it you Archie?) pledged £100 to hear it.
They also had to issue a plea for someone with the song to take it to the Radio HQ as they didn't have it this was years before the FM box-set someone bought it in and it was played. It was someone from Liverpool who had it (Uncle Jim??!?)
