Paul ofcourse.
George is a great singer. But I doubt he can handle songs like Hammer to Fall

I really don't like the idea of Paul trying to replace Freddie! Who does he think he is, eh?
He's copying all these moves Freddie did on stage!

Both are good singers, But I'd go for George ANY day. Not that I think Paul will do a bad job though!

OMG! No, it's not!
Ok, fine, no-one's copying nyone, but Freddie did it better!
So it'd be alright if George Michael copied Freddie's "moves"?
Can we please just hear your opionion on who would be the best lead signer for the Queen Tour of 2005?
ELTON JOHN!!.... D'oh!

I think Roger and Brian should sing. They could handle a show without any outsider's help. I think George Michael's voice sometimes can get close to Freddie's (sometimes!). But since nobody can replace him, then why even try? Roger and Brian did it great with Queen songs, and with "No one but you". I hate to think they're going on tour with someone, anyone, trying to impersonate Freddie, though of course they'll deny it. Give me a new Queen album with some creativity!

I think both Brian and Roger are too old to manage to sing alone whole concert. Besides, their voice is not really category of Freddie, Paul, Michael and many other singers. So, I would prefer if they would stick to the drums, guitars and backing vocals - what they do the best. I think they are well aware of that too. However, I would love to hear some Bri and Rog solo stuff also on concert (at least one or two songs if possible).
I really don't know who would be better, Paul or Michael. We heard Michael on Tribute and Paul on HoF and from those few bits I can't really decide. No matter who would be decided, the song list for tour then would need to be adjusted to him. Freddie knew how to interpret those songs - simply because he was involved in process of creating and recording them. For someone else to do it he/she either needs to copy it as it was (that would be BAD move) or add something own in that, but keeping song familiar to the audience. List of songs for Paul and Michael would probably not be the same. Same applies to any other potential singer. (I always wanted to hear Tina Turner live performance of Don't Stop Me Now as I think that song fits her).

Paul Rodgers isn't trying to replace Freddie. He's just filling in for him while he's away. ;-)
