Here here, thats the way, and i agree, if you want to live in the past then get rid of your TV, Radio, PC etc and use your cd player or record album becos Queen+PR will be on every single thing you own basically when the tour starts, you cant avoid it and when you cant, dont take your stresses out on everyone else, and let young people like me (17yrs of age) enjoy what we have left instead of being a boring spoil sport of a TOSSER!

I am a new member. First I would like to say hello to all other Queen fans.
And -- I agree with Dickie on this one.
I feel that Roger and Brian have every right to tour again with who ever they please. BUT NOT
AS QUEEN. Queen ended on Nov 24 1991.
I feel sorry for the young people who did not get to see Queen. But this group is not Queen.
Two are missing, remember!!
Another angle - When John Lennon died, the Beatles
did not "replace" him with some one else and
call themselves The Beatles plus Paul Rogers.
They knew what the four of them had was impossible
to replace.
The remaining members of the group Queen should follow this example.

well really you need to be around my age to understand what its like to have someone say its not Queen when you believe downright it is, im sorry but, i and many other youngsters believe its Queen and thats the way we want to believe, we dont want people who was able to hear Queen bak in the 70's and 80's comin in and spoiling it for us younguns, so please, let us enjoy wot we have left of Queen, and iv sed it before, Queen live on, in the two members known as Roger Taylor and Brian May with help from PR, dont spoil it for us, we have years ahead of us and we want our younguns to listen to Queen the way we will and the way you did, just let us have that chance!

yeah but the beatles .. were the beatles the 20th centurys greatest cultural phenomenon - a bad comparison - but i see the point as john lennon said of the beatles in 1970 "its a only band thats split up - people keep on thinking its the end of world - you've got your old records if you want to reminisce" & i feel thats a very good linking to Queen now
What Brian & Roger to do? since 1991 bri's has only released two solo studio albums (i dont count furia - film project) & so has roger & wasted too many years doing horrendeous. Bri suffered the loss of Cozy Powell, collabarations with pop acts, a Queen greatest hits III - which really was milking it - i stopped buying Queen cd's after Queen Rocks, thankfully the recent DVD releases have put creditbility back into the Queen name.
Now in 2005 they're going on tour - ive heard TYMD & posted what i thought (which i stand by)- they're on hiding to nothing - most pig headed Queen fans will hope this tour bombs & they'll say "told you so" & that'll be it
This is a new band, they're missing their bass player (John doesnt want to do it fine respect his decision) there's a guy in Paul Rogers trying to reproduce the material sang by the greatest showman there's ever been , its not as if they've recorded a new album with each other (common ground to lay a foundation.. which i think would have been the better move... then tour) there's a few ego's on that stage & reading the reviews they're lacking a leader - but i hope for their sakes they get their shit together
There's no point in comparing Queen/Paul Rogers to the band that played Knebworth 09/08/86 its a different time & place, it freaks me out 19 years ago but at that time Queen's albums werent the greatest material to some people.. but no would dispute they were greatest live act on the planet when they bowed out in 1986.. i heard those interviews from the 3 recently with kid jenson & brian sounded more "alive" that he has done in years..
Like/dislike (its irrelavent)but you got to admit they've got balls doing this & thats what Queen are about - saying fuck off to general opinions
