I think that in this world of to day everybody needs everybody... and as much Brian, Roger and John needed Freddie, as much Freddie needed Brian, Roger and John... Everyone has his personality and talent...
He was a great performer, but he needed the people around him...

As far the concert Queen + PR it can't be compared to anything else... It is diffrent, does not mean it's bad...
In any case BAD or GOOD are words who lays in the mind of people and is owned by them personality... like many other words, I LIKE or NOT, BEAUTIFULL or UGLY....The glass is HALF FULL or HALF EMPTY

I can have more than a 1 000 000 answers cause everyone has diffrent mind about it... And the way you think you will react in time is not always how you will react by fact when things are standing before you!
The fact is: What is, IS! And arguing about this is not going to change the fact that the remaining Queens have decided to have this tour and neither the fact that many of the tour dates have been sold out...
I had the chance to see them at the Hall of Fame and I can tell you it was a kind of magic moment that made me cary away... (That's for me and nobody has to agry and I respect if you think it wasn't as this is your meaning)

Suddenly a ridiculous wind-up thread became an interesting read. Usually it's other way round... ;)
There is a lot of speaking about Queen as a performing band, no doubt about that Freddie Mercury was a huge part of the band live and and definitely the main reason for Queens popularity as a live act. Even though both Brian and Roger are fine performers and John solid as a rock, they pale in comparison to Freddie as do almost everybody(although david Lee roth, Steven Tyler or Elvis IMHO probably would have offered some serious competition)
What I am thinking about is how Queen as a recording and creative band is in many ways a result of the meeting of the talents of Freddie & Brian. Both of which are extremely talented and original musicians.

Silly topic! Queen never was a one-man band. Actually they were 4 guys writing the songs. Even FM said that! He said he was not the leader of the band! If you take away all the songs written by Brian, Roger and John, you will see what is left..!
It is their music, and their work, so they can do whatever they want, and don`t have to listen to silly comments!
