I like the fact that I'm being criticised for apologising. I'd be far weaker if I secretly thought I was wrong but refused to admit it. And besides, like I said in my last post I only backtracked the death threat and, agian as I said before, I did that because it wasn't worthy of me, not because I thought you deserved the apology.

I'm not being funny, but Rog is as entitled to say Coldplay are boring as some of you are to say they aren't.
At the end of the day, it is very evident, as always with Queen, things are blown up completely out of proportion. A simple question, and a simple trademark Roger quote. That's all. The thing is though, Rog says it, and thats it. It's his opinion and he knows it. I think that is what rattles people, the fact he doesnt really care that he's said it, so they have to make more out of it than is necessary.
Anyway, Coldplay being a rock-band? Have a laugh. Do people not know what rock is nowadays? Messages on your hand? Whingey lyrics? Hell, even the band he produces/owns/whatever called Embrace sounds vocally and musically almost exactly the same as Coldplay, and I don't care what you say or how much you like them, it is almost un-deniable. In my opinion, that shows absolutely no creativity. Having your own "sound" is one thing, but this is something so different its the same.
Good on Rog for having the balls to say something against the grain and not worry about it. Just shows that not all ageing rock-stars need publicity like Bono and such.

I thought I'd bring this topic back, because I have to say (and I'm surely in the minority by saying this), Dudley is essentially correct with everything he has said about Africa in this topic. Whether or not we want to admit it, Africa is the RICHEST continent on the globe. They have a high percentage of the world's most valuable elements (92% of all uranium, for example). The governments of most countries there are indeed completely crooked, and as long as they are in power, very little while change in the long run. They will take the money for their greedy selves. So Dudley, even though your tact isn't great here, factually I agree with you.

It's the fucking governments in those countries that deserve the blame. I'm pissed with Dudley 'cos he blames everyone - including the people who don't deserve the situation they're in.
