Pink Floyd on Live 8

I'm a Queen fan, but Pink Floyd was amazing on Live 8, i must say. I just finished to watch their performance, and it was incredible.
I hope they'll be back soon playing.

They sounded brilliant! Amazing solo on Comfortably numb

I almost fell asleep I must say...

Sadly, I thought there would be more rock'n'roll...

And there was to slow music. It all felt like same songs the whole bunch of the songs.

I haven't and I really can't get into Pink Floyd.

Superb, really good. Looked like they were having a lot of fun.

Roger Waters has probably ever smiled so much in his life! That could bode well for a full blown reunion.

I was half expecting Pink Floyd's set to go the way of Led Zep's at Live Aid, but they actually did really well. I liked the choice of songs (and the fact that they avoided the most obvious crowd pleaser) and they sounded fantastic too - Dave Gilmour's voice and guitar playing has gotten better with age. The video displays were also perfectly judged. Only Roger's bodged lead vocals on 'Wish you were here' spoiled things slightly.

Pink Floyd were great! Would probably have swapped them with The Who though, more of a rocky finale. Waters looked to have a good time, but no contact from Dave Gilmour to Roger Waters, only a smile to Nick Mason. Roger sportingly got the band together at the end. Not sure if there will be a world tour to follow, wouldn't be suprised...

Great. Just great. i think together with The Who the best performances. But I pitty they didn't play ''Another Birck In The Wall'' on this ''legendary'' concert.

I don´t think they'll make a full tour, 'cause of lot a problems between Waters and Gilmour. In case of a full tour, they'll need Sir Bob Geldof on that tour (to come up a fight).

What was Floyd's full set? I know they did Numb & WYWH. MTV showed about 90 seconds of Numb then cut back to that stiff John Norris! Awful, awful, awful coverage by MTV & VH1! Really an embarrassment. I hope coverage was better in Europe. How was Velvet Revolver?

Velvet Revolver? Well... what can I say... They are just not such a good live act, and proved that again at Live 8. Musically it was messy and Scott Weiland, who was obviously out by whatever drug he took this time, sang just dreadfull. Pitty...

I'm not familar with Pink Floyd to be honest but I was impressed by their performance.

Floyd were excellent, the only part of the show I really wanted to watch and it was worth the wait.

Well, with Waters standing at the drumriser, he and Mason definately had a moment there!

I realy got the impression that Dave Gilmour is the one having a hard time with this reunion. The other ones seemed quite alright with the situation.

Looked like Gilmour had a pretty hard time accepting Roger's arm at the end indeed...
