Wait, I'm confused...I thought us fan club members get to buy tickets tomorrow and the QOL one is on Friday...so we do get priority tickets...what's the deal here?
The deal is, we are getting shafted.. Fan club, QOL, PR fans, scalpers will all be on the Thurs. presale.
We now have details of the US Dates pre-sale. If you want to be included please make sure you are signed up here at QOL in the REGISTER section on the main NAVIGATION BAR to recieve your US Dates pre-sale e-mail tomorrow.
I read that to mean they get their e-mail tomorrow with the presale for them on Friday...sorry, guess I understood it wrong
That's how I interpreted it also bc I've got no email from QOL. Just one from Jacky.

Ok who actually got a presale e-mail from Queenonline and who got a presale e-mail from the fanclub?
Erin and I got one from Fanclub one for Queenonline both with presale information for Thursday 28th.

And you know what? I never received my e-mail from Jackie after sending her my info 3 times so I called her this morning and got the info I needed for the presale. Then I just checked my e-mail and got the QOL online e-mail about prebooking starting tomorrow...the same times and site for getting the tickets as Jackie provided for us...this is an ultimate rip...

Yep, it sounds like it. Paul Rodgers Fan Club is also part of the presale, plus I looked on eBay this morning and there were 7 listings on there for people trying to sell passwords. One of the usernames that was selling was "instantpassword" so I'm sure that doesn't like a Queen or Paul Rodgers fan.
It's Ticketmaster's fault too. They save the premium/best seats for the brokers, large businesses, and radio stations for contests. Then if they don't sell by the last week, they release these seats again.
I have a friend who is in Kiss's fan club and he did the whole presale thing and ended up with 10th row seats, which is not bad. But here I walk up to the ticket window an hour before the concert and end up with 2nd row seats. I'm not complaining but I don't think that's fair at all.

I feel completely ripped off. I know that we shouldn't blame Jackie, but there's something that really needs to be fixed. It's not fair that Fan Club members have to put up with this shit when we paid for the exclusive service to get those tickets before anybody else.
Part of it is to blame on Queen Productions, but most of all on the way concert promoters decide to run things. Once again fuckin' Clear Channel is ripping off the fans.

Well..I looked at the ebay sales of the password. At least, one is a ticket dealer..
These guys bought it:

You hit the nail right on the head. Clear Channel is a piece of shit monopoly. We can thank them for today's concert ticket prices and the sucky format of radio stations these days.

I feel very fortunate to have also received the SUPER SECRET info from pr.com as well as from QOL and the fan club. I expect there will be voicemails from each member of the band for me and for each of you as well when we all get home from work tonight, each message containing the same super secret information. I also expect that it will be posted on signs trailing behind planes flying around all of the beach areas in the US this afternoon, and we will see it on the sides of buses and all over billboards as we drive home from work tonight. It will also be broadcast on all the major network news reports this evening, and just in case anyone missed it, it will also be released on Larry King Live, and Nightline. After all, it is a close-hold secret reserved as a benefit for paying members of the fan club. Sheesh! Poor Jacky! Let's leave her out of this one. It's not her fault.
This has the foul stench of Clear Channel all over it.
Regardless, whether we get tickets or not, the tailgate party is still on ;-)

Seems like everyone (that is posting) is heading off to the NJ concert...maybe we should head to Hollywood; we'd get better seats...less of a fight for them...or maybe that's wishful thinking...:)

Could be due to the fact aswell that the top tickets for the CA concert are $200 are opposed to $125 :-)
