Ok, I for us fans over here in Southern California, when can we buy the tickets from presale for the hollywood show? Tomorrow thursday or friday?

of course its not Jacky's fault
but as usual because she is the public face to the machine -and the one person we all can have contact with she will get crucified over it...
The machine just has some folks that after all these years...after the lottery disaster and so on have refused to learn from their mistakes and get it right for a change....
that being said.....
i still think we we all have about the same chances at some good seats because the venues are too big
if it was at the beacon or radio city i would be more worried.. smaller venues with a chance of selling out
i just dont think either event will sell out

I'm just praying I dont get seats so far all I see is a blur with a hint of music playing.
If you really ARE pissed off and want to do something, why not write to Queen's PR Team...
Phil Symes is the man who SHOULD be being informed of exactly what people are thinking about this. If he gets enough emails then just perhaps it will filter through to Mr Jim Beach and the others at QPL.

I think I'm going to wait til the actual tour. These are soooo pricy! :(
Maybe later, they'll be about or under $100 each. It wouldn't be so bad if I lived close enough to drive to either, alas ... I will be waiting.

err i probably would not wait this is likely the only chances you will have
unless of course 40k+ Queen fans suddenly come out to play...
they certainly did not when the last played LA...

You have to admit, it's a nice way for the band and organisers to guarantee they make a profit...
The Hollywood tickets are priced from $37 to $200, yet the presale tickets are starting at $150.
Whether the buyers are touts or the few genuine fans rushing to get in, the presale tickets alone will cover the costs of the concert. The downside of course is that QPR could very well end up playing to 5,000 people in the audience. :P

i rejoined the fan club last week just for the ticket presale. its bullshit. i should email jacky and demand my money back. anyone agree? u know how many people they got to sign up because of this. its a shame.
It's not Jacky's fault, I'm sure.. She put in the email that we paid for the privilege of the password. I am sure she didn't know that QOL was going to do this.
This is the same situation as the UK dates. I think I got my Brixton tickets through QOL, and the other tickets shared between OIQFC and QOL.
Hmmm... reminds me of something... :)

I am sure some people would come out to play if it were not so expensive. Maybe 40K Paul Rodgers fans will come out instead :-)

So you know something about the tour next year? Not going to be one over here?
Well I am booking my own tour!! :-) Wisconin-New Jersey-Wisconsin-LA-Wisconsin.
Airfare: 800
hotel: 1000
tickets: 700 (1 VIP)
Seeing Brian and Roger perform live: Priceless!!
...seriously this is not jacky's fault, she got screwed too--I guess many of us want this SO bad that we don't want any foul ups and we don't want to sit in the back of the hall or hill(LA. We want to be able to see their faces, feel the energy...you can't do that if you are not in the first 1/4 of the venue...just my opinion.

I would say to anyone who wants to see Queen should see the NJ or Cali gig. My gut feeling is that unless these gigs have a huge buzz about them, Q+PR just won't do a tour in the Spring.
I know this sounds negative. But it seems if the Q+PR people can't seem to see the benefit or glory of booking small gigs that will fill up, and choosing an NJ chickenshack hockey arena over, say, a 3-night stand at the Beacon Theatre, and along with it all the New York City buzz, for one example, it's up to the fans to make it happen.
The more I think about it, the more I hope these shows might be successful. As long as, that is, if US fans make that pilgrimage to one of these shows. No more complaining about distance of travel or any of that crap. I'm already putting up three people from Indiana, and I'll be in Albany, NY! I would urge Queeniacs near either of these venues to open their homes, let people from far away into their homes for these gigs, and make it happen.
When my wife and I flew over to the UK for a vacation and we saw that famously bad Wembley show, I witnessed so many UK fans putting up, like, Austrian fans, Belgian fans, Swedish fans. Surely if you live in the Northeast or California, you can put up your fellow Queen fan from Milwaukee or whatnot? And how about carpooling?
Anyway, this is all to say, we should all go to these shows. No promises of there being more, for one. And these are the first shows on North American soil since 1982! Hell, since 1992 if you could Brian's US tour!
Love,
D

The Beacon Theater is probably the shittiest venue in NYC. I know it's an old one, but the worst part of all is that it seems like nobody has even bothered trying to re-model it.
The Radio City is also old, but remains top-class when it comes to small venues.
