The thing is that nowadays people are starting to buy less Cd`s from the stores and by now Live Albums just don`t sell!! They`ve got lucky to get to number 12 in the charts. I bet that if U2 release a live album it flops big deal too.
People prefer to buy the DVD and so do i! That`s why i think that live albums don`t make sense unless they are packed with the DVD because between the two, people are going for the DVD.
Just wait and see the DVD sales. Look how high in charts the Live at The Bowl went last year. It flopped big time, but the DVD it`s still selling, so this is not a question of Paul or Freddie, the music companies have to update themselves for reallity, people have way too many things to spend their money, and to release a CD and DVD in separate ways isn`t appealing anymore, and the prices!???

Dream Theater - pick up Scenes From A Memory and Octavarium. Two of the best albums created in the past ten years. Disc 2 of Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence is their other concept album, and it's incredible as well.

DVDs are boring for the most part. I don't watch TV or movies. I only have THREE or so DVDs as I tend to sell the ones I have for CDs. I only have The Making of Dark Side of the Moon, Red Sox World Series Faith Rewarded, Genesis The Way We Walk Live. I just don't watch TV or anything for that matter and I still stick with VHS pretty much.
