Why are Queen fans against hip hop music?

Oh really I'd like to see you recite a couple thousands words from memory, very quickly, all in order, without screwing up and still make it sound good.. and one question you black or white?

Nothing more than a rhythm and poor lyrics in your opinion, yes. Others think that hip-hop is quite good. Some of it (cough Ja Rule cough) is pathetic, some is actually quite good, lyrically and musically (Tupac lyrics were more like poetry in places, for instance).

Why are Queen fans against hip hop? because to be quite honest we have better taste.

Not for me, thank you. Not following others with my decission, can't stand this music. I grew up with blues, rock, even metal- and I still love it. I'm not closed minded. I don't mind jazz, I kind of like classical... I even think that last Paul Anka's album is one of the albums of the year!!! But hip-hop nad rap suck big time... IMO of course...
And yes, sometimes it does work, "Lose Yourself" is awesome (hmmm, let's think why ;) ) but I also love Rage Against The Machine...

I agree Z, a lot of people have so much hate towards hip-hop, rap for some reason. They don't even listen to the music...just because they heard a few songs. Oh well.

I think it does relate to the enviornment and what pepople can relate to. In hip-hop videos the background enviornment, is different than in rock videos. I guess people say they hate it becuase the obviously can't relate and don't understand.

The candy shop song was pretty good....and little kids shouldn't be listening to it.

if we took rap and hip-hop away...many people wouldn't have anything to listen too :)

Well, a chav is someone who loves anything that looks gangster like eg. dress, music, talks, walks like a gangster all the brand names with all the hoodie stuff thats a chav and i have alot where i live and its not a pretty sight.

I'm not trying to get you to like it, I myself personalyprefer the differnt styles of rock ranging from punk to some heavy stuff.All 'm tring to say is that just because you dont like it doesn't mean it's bad. Music is an artform and I way of exspressing yourself and your ideals and some people wiil relate to those ideals and the way it has been presented, while others will resent it and prefer and diifernt way of exspressing themselves
