If by guitars you mean beat-box, then yeah.
:( seriously, I've seen some guitarists.
No he's right there is guitar in certain rap songs such as eminem's loose yourself.. and yeah I know what the hell it means its just that I'm trying to make a point dammit!!
Personally I really like RUN DMC.

Old school rap can certainly be a lot of fun, and it's not necessary to rap about bling-bling, bitches, guns, hoes, and pimping to make it sound interesting. It's great to hear good rap without so much cursing.

One should ANALize the Poetry on page 43, when Oedipus is rollin' in his benzo and he has to bust a cap on some flagrants in the under city http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/image/essay/1

To person above if your referring to me as a he, I'm a she.
[QUOTENAME]queen4ever2 wrote: [/QUOTENAME]what do you mean loud? Isn't rock loud?
Loud as in, cover your ears and turn that off loud.
Queen rocks...but hip hop/rap?ummmmm I cannot stay listening to a sampler that repeats the same stupid noises without any modification through all the song(Percussion sound). There´s no´vocal register, they just talk/speak so, how the heck could the hip hop/rap interpreters be singers????.... IT´s not posssible to translate to a Pentagram...it´s a shame...I agree with Arlene R. Weiss, it has no structure...I like Rock, a little bit of Swing, Pop(come on, evryone once in their lifes like it), and original music of my country..but hip hop or rap...please..what´s the point on listening to that? I agree with people who said that there are few rappers who have positive messages, but by the time you could listen to those messages, IT´s ALREADY TIME TO LISTEN TO A ROCK SONG, SPECIALLY BY QUEEN....is my english good? Cheers.
Queen fans aren't against hip hop music. Maybe some of them just don't like it since it's not their kind of music. Personally I'm into rock music, I like all rock groups from the 60s and 70s, and Queen is my favourite of them all. I don't like hip hop since I feel like it's sometimes too superficial, for example if you watch a 50 cent video all you see is this huge dude with fake muscles and oil all over his body, plus all those f*cking half naked horny chicks everywhere. And all he says in his songs is the same: "Yeah, yeah, I'm hot, I like to be drunk and to fuck all around, I do drugs, I'm rich" bla bla bla... This is pure shit to me. If only hip hop was real, an artistic music without being so superficial, like rock music is to me, maybe I'd like it better...but that's only my opinion
yes it was plain to see, yes it was meant to be...
Back like 3 years ago, I was a rap fan. I had the eminem show cd. Yeah, at first i liked it because it made me one of the "guys" but I specifically remember holding a eminem cd in my left hand, a red hot chili pepper cd in my right, I looked at the eminem show and said, "you know what, this is not what I am really like and this is not how I want people to know me."

On the topic of racism, why is it ok for a white person to get called "whitey" "cracker" "wigger" "white boy" and yet the second a white person lets a "nigger" "gook" or whatever slip, it's automatically racism?

uhh yeah, it's racism both ways. Why do people keep asking that; it's not okay for anyone to call the other a bad name.
[QUOTENAME]ropeyjoe wrote: [/QUOTENAME]In reply to Mr Jingles I just want to say that there is still alot of good rap out there that carries a message and helps people with the situation the find themsleves in and explains to them why they perseve the world to be like that. A god example of this is The Game Featuring 50 Cent in hate it or love it. Listen to it or prefarebly watch it and you will see wht I mean.
yep
Is anyone getting tired of this thread....
