I haven't seen a Bitch4Freddie response. Hopefully they died.

I think B&R are good enough businessmen to be able to predict whether anything will 'bomb' or not.
I've heard better Queen covers bands than this current insult to the memory of Queen. The We Will Rock You stage show was a dreadful cynical cash-in,but this so called Queen reunion has to be the most ridiculous waste of time since the Sex Pistols reformed.I just wish Brian and Roger would fade into the night, and stop this pointless reactivation of something that died in 1986.Paying good money to see these bloated old men only encourages more of the same.Elton John,Mccartney,Jagger and the rest of them have nothing to offer musically, but profit on the reputation of what they achieved 30+ years ago.The whole spectacle is just so sad.

Please, Mr. Poopy Pants, go play in traffic, start an alligator farm, just go away. You are stinking up the joint.
We are forced to deal with nincompoops like you form time to time. All you are doing is amking yourself look like a complete idiot.

The truth hurts as they say.How anybody can compare Queen circa 1975-1980 with this Paul Rogers crap, must be off their heads. When did McCartney,Elton,Jagger and the hoards of other has-beens release anything worth listening to in the past 25-30 years?Be honest, and ask yourself this question. It's easy to be blinded by an acts history, and all of these people are finished creatively .The only reason they exist is because of suckers like you who feed their egos, and waste your hard earned cash watching a bunch of hagged old idiots desperately trying to stay in tune on various stadiums around the world.Keep your money in your pocket, and dig out the original albums.
No one IS comparing this band to Queen circa 1977. Who would? Even if Freddie was still alive, how could you compare Queen in 2005 to Queen in 1977? 1982? You CAN'T!
Again, all you are doing in blustering to see your writing on a website, and try to get a reaction.
I just saw McCartney in October, and it was AMAZING! Almost three hours of great music by a man very near the top of his game. Being 32 years old, I did not have the chance to see him in the 70's.
To look at what you just wrote, I guess that we shouldn't pay to see Springsteen, as he is not as good as he was in 1975? Don't pay to see the Eagles, they aren't as good as they were in 1976?
We are very, very FORTUNATE that these guys are still active, still touring, and in most cases, still at a very top level.
Now, go away, I am tired of debunking your shallow and vapid arguments.

I feel very sorry for anyone who wastes their money filling the pockets of a bunch of greedy washed up perfomers of yesteryear. That's just it,you have missed the boat. These acts were only fit to see live during the 70's,when they still had something to offer. Why make do with the remnants of something that was once great, just for the sake of saying i saw so and so live.If i want to hear Beatles songs live, there are plenty of cover bands that put on a better show than McCartney himself, whose voice has now gone.As for Queen, there is no Queen, just May and Taylor's Vulgar display of greed and ego.Try looking for something current, instead of this crop of silly old farts.
That is just it. This is your OPINION. I would much rather spend my hard earned money to see Springsteen, McCartney, and Queen then shit bands like Coldplay.
I have seen all of the above 4, and trust me when I say that Coldplay, simply put, does not belong on the same stage. If it were a Lollapalooza event, Coldplay, compared to the others three, wouldn't even make the third stage out behind the porta-potties.
In fact, these new bands, save a few like The Darkness, are absolute rubbish.
It is readily apparent to me that you, sir, have no idea what you are talking about.

I'm afraid it's you who has know idea what your talking about.Did i say anything about The Darkness and Coldplay?I agree both of these bands are total shit, but so is this Queen effort. My point is that if you are going to try and kickstart something that finished way back in 1986,at least make an effort to provide something of quality.Paul Rogers is simply not up to the task, and to be honest nobody is.Look at the appalling Freddie tribute concert as an example. You had Axel Rose and Elton slaughtering Bo-Rap,Robert Plant destroying Innuendo, and a lineup of jokers absolutely humiliating themselves for the rest of the performance.People keep going on about George Michael because the rest of the show was so dire.Brian and Roger should have used that concert as an example of how wretched it would be trying to reignite Queen again. For years they said it would and could never happen, but in the end gave into greed, pure and simple.Don't get me wrong,i'm a fan of Queen, and it's hard to admit that they have made a massive mistake, and have forever tainted the image of the band.
You have your opinion....I think you are dead wrong, but is your opinion nonetheless.
However, that does NOT give you the right to force feed it down our throats....
Now, go away!

*stands up and claps* AMEN and BRAVO!!!
Im not even going to waste anymore type on this OPINION thing, because ive noticed in these such forums, no one ever convinces the poster that they're wrong and QUEEN IS NOT and i repeat NOT washed up, greedy, egomaniac, sellouts or w/e. Us die hard and supportive of Queen from the beginning till now (including now) as well as McCartney etc, will never convince these peole who think they're destined to fail that they will not.
its fine to have an opinion, but its kinda sickening to read these such things. Because Queen doesnt even compare themselves to they're past work, they've always tried to move forward. Obviously, like other projects, this tour is one that has soured many "fans"... u dont have to agree with everything... but this constant slander is kinda annoying drivel sometimes...
*yawn*

I'm afraid there seems to be a lot of folks in this forum who seem totally blinded by the name Queen. If this Paul Rogers/May Taylor effort was released under another title other than Queen, none of you would go near it.You would simply laugh it off as a terribly bad MOR or AOR act in the style of Bon Jovi,or something equally dreadful. The only thing that sells this product is the name Queen plastered on the sleeve,or tour poster. This is how the Stones have lasted so long, totally bereft of ideas musically, sounding hopelessly sloppy on stage, and simply going through the motions of making as much money as they can.I never thought the remaining members of Queen would lower themselves to this sad state of affairs. For god sake there's only two of them doing it!It would be like McCartney and Ringo going on a world tour with a couple of hired hands, and calling it the Beatles. They would be laughed off stage, and everyone knows it.Wise up,this farce will all be over in a couple of years at best, once May and Taylor have grabbed enough tour dollars from gullible people trying to relive a distant memory.Queen is dead.
Q+PR rocks!
