I don't know... I went crazy getting home in time for the Phila presale and got row 14. Today I go on just to check what sold and 6th row was available! I think the people who said don't buy right away are right!

Well, that's not true. I bought tickets today 20 minutes after they went on sale to the general public. I got floor seats in center. Albeit they are 40 rows back in second section, but still better then half way back in the bowl.

I think it will do well. Paul Rodgers is HUGELY RESPECTED in America. It was OK for two videos from Queen to be banned(Body Language which is extremely tame by today's standards and I Want to Break Free which VH1 uplifted in 1991 when they aired it on the second Queen episode of My Generation which was hosted by Brian May at the time of Innuendo) yet eMptyTV those a**holes show Madgeepoo kissing two women YOUNG ENOUGH to be her daughters. America is still homophobic. I think eMptyTV are hypocrites.
I saw Pink Floyd in 1994 at Foxboro Stadium and David Gilmour could and still can(as witnessed at Live 8) sing and play guitar like he did in the 1970s, Nick Mason is playing drums like he was in 1977(he played Astronomy Domine without a percussionist's help in 1994) and Rick Wright's fire for playing keyboards came back. Roger Waters was superb in 2000 and he is a master showman. A**holes like Robbie Williams(not the tour manager for either Pink Floyd or Queen + Paul Rodgers), Bratananey Sneers, P*sstina Aquafina and such are all miming a**holes who should be beheaded!

HAHAH LMAO! And i wish i could see them live (Pink Floyd) because i am a fan of them as well. And i dont understand why people say just because they're older = sucky at playing live now. Because thats not true, i mean as i mentioned earlier, Pete Townshend, watch Live 8, he still jumps about on stage j/ like he used to, and plays with j/ as much conviction as when they were written, and from listenin to ROTC, i get the same with Roger and Brian and Paul as well. People just need to try and get over the aging gap and really listen to these things.

Age doesnt matter. Musicians want to play. It's not like a drivers licence, which in germany can be given away at a certain age if you think you can not drive any more. I saw Clapton and I was a bit dissapointed. I saw the Foo Fighters and they rocked. Fine. But I saw the Stones twice and they were a treat, whilst Coldplay sucked live. (as always: IMO)
If musicians want to play live it's not only their right to do so - for them it is their life ! I am in a band as well and thinking of someone telling me to stop playing live for whatever reason would be a torture... and ridiculous.
I went to see Q + PR in cologne. What did I expect ? Freddie suddenly joining them on stage ? Of course I went there to see the people that have made me enjoy music, to play that stuff again. And it was great ! Freddie was treated respectfully, just the right amount of appereances of him both audio and visual that it wasn't kitsch.
They dont need the money. I understand everyone who does not want to support this, but polemic marks do not count. Let them do what they want, and if people like it, then it's fine - if not, don't buy a ticket. I certainly liked it A LOT.
I hope the US-tour will be a sell-out as it is a great opportunity for all the american people that weren't fortunate to see them from 1974 to 82. I'd prefer Bri and Rog as old men in wheelchairs to every cover band. They f***in wrote and recorded the songs we all love so much - together with the beloved mustachioed one. They can do whatever they like.
I was sceptical as well, but hey: what if they'd chosen to go on tour with Elton, George or Robbie... you will never please everyone, just for the fact that Freddie IS dead - which is tragic and he - having been one of the greatest frontmen and singers in the business even in the opinion of people who dont like Queen - is badly missed, but was Nov. 24th '91 the day Rog and Bri were supposed to put their instruments away ?
Like a Ferrari in a garage... thats what Elton said about them. The Ferrari is driving again. Maybe the hubcaps are not gleaming the way they did back in the 70's... but the pistons are REALLY pumping !
