i am from canada and on the anniversery of freddies death i berley ever hear about people talk about the magnificent man. Every one takes Lennon seriously ( maybe because he is quite possibly the bighgest rock-n-roll star ever) but in off the point, what im saying is does the UK have like tributes to the man or not??
- those days are all gone now but one thing is true, when i look and i find i still love you.
On telly yeah hours of Queen i dont know about tributes but in UK there is stuff for Freddie.
Freddie Mercury was, and is bigger than John Lennon...
heyheyheyhey, it was the DNA...
i'm gonna have to agree with Mr. Roy on that one.

Freddie was an eldest brother of God
totally agreed, although i do respect john lennon as an artist he wil never be bigger than our own Mr Freddie Mercury!
sorry to burst the bubble but John Lennon was a better musician than Freddie Mercury.
im growing my hair like Brian May...
What do you expect?

An evening of Queen material replacing regular broadcasting on all channels every Nov 24?

Or is it just the fact that there has been a bit of coverage of the 25th anniversary of Lennon's death in the last week, and you've extrapolated that into "every year we get this Lennon stuff, what about Freddie?", failing to remember that there was no hoop=la on Lennon's 24th anniversary?

As for the rest of you "Freddie/John was better" - grow up. They were different, Freddie would not have succeeded without John laying the groundwork as part of the Beatles, and since Freddie was cremated, he is now a lot smaller...
