yeah, i do get that feeling...but then it's the same with anything isn't it? If Anne Frank hadn't of died then her diary wouldn't be as big..actually on second thoughts she probably wouldn't have published it but you know what i mean.

In the UK I don't know. But Here in Malta they don't. Nobody speaks about him, and when I say "He's my Idol" They just laugh at me as if I were insane! As Deaky Boy said, even in here Lennon's dead is taken more seriously, and it ain't fair. Freddie was and still is the king's KING!!!!!

Fully agree. Freddie was a far better musician and performer, but there's no denying that Lennon was not only a far better lyricist than Freddie, but one of the great lyricists of all time.

Mercury was God compared to Lennon in terms of performance and composing skills and voice quality. Lennon was a poet and some songs of his are amazingly beautiful, but I find Freddie absolutely greater as a total artist.
John Lennon wanted to change the world Freddie did not, he just wanted fun. each to their own I am a big Lennon fan but as a MUSICIAN Freddie was superior. RIP John and Freddie. There will never be a time when both of you are not thought of.

It is true Freddie is better than John Lennon. They ahd this pointless program on Chanel 4 about Lennon's murder which isn't much of a tribute, but for Freddie they're was nothing. Which I find disresepctful. They could have showed a special on a TV channel. They showed LAW and that's about it on VH1 but there should be more regontion about Freddie's death. He died of a serious illness that people could get and it could least be a lesson to people. Long live Freddie!
