Last night was easily one of the best nights of my life. I was in shock the whole time, I had to keep pinching myself. I was in section 123 (right side of the stage) in like the 3rd row. I was very impressed with my seats. I kept thinking "These are my fucking seats. I didnt even have to sneak up here". Unfortunatly the people in my section were not half as enthused as I was to be at the concert. The people in back of me asked me to sit down during Brian May's guitar solo. Actually they were talking about me really loud and I happened to hear them say "Sit down punk ass" I turned around and gave them the nastiest glare and said "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE? IM NOT SITTING DOWN!" and that was the end of that. The show was amazing. I really hope they come back again.
I was the confused looking girl with pink and purple hair. I couldnt find my seats for the longest time haha :)
I had so much fun. It was amazing. I got really teary eyed when they played Love of My Life (it's my favorite Queen song). The empty stool just got me.

To James, i very much enjoyed your review from a prefessional stance. I really picked up on what you were saying about Brian and Roger last night....care to share some observances you saw last night? What tipped you off that they were in pain?
I do hope Brian is alright. Last thing i would want to have happen to him is a bad spell of intesnse pain. The poor bloke has been through enough pain in his lifetime already...

I'm glad it came off to you guys like the best show ever ..... because we actually agreed, on the plane out, that this was perhaps our best QPR show EVER .... fantastic buzz, great sound, and there seemed to TIME to make everything hit the button .... the noise and appreciation of an audience like that truly makes you play entirely differently .... I had a wonderful evening .... it was not a note-perfect kind of night, but the kind of night where you feel maximum courage to try things with a slightly different slant .... take chances .... and walk a little taller. I loved it. You made us feel like ..... we rocked !

And when Brian was playing at the very end of the catwalk, he was squared up shoulder to shoulder right in front of me. Unbelieveable. I could watch all the expression changes of concentration, exertion, (did I see pain?), effort, playfulness, laughter, being touched by the warmth of the crowd, moments of connection.

Another media review for Worcester. Finally someone in the media 'gets it', though I think the boys get along much better than just business partners. They seem to genuinely like each other, but it just may be their overwhelming respect for each other's music that is so obvious which lead to the writer's comments.

Awesome concert!!
Much better than the one in New Jersey, or perhaps I'm saying this because I was able to get floor seats. However, I have to say that Paul Rodgers did indeed sound much better on this concert than last October in NJ. I wasn't too keen of his performance of 'The Show Must Go On' back then, but after last Friday I have to say that the guy is able to pull it off incrdibly well. Of course, for him to step inside the Freddie Mercury shoes, the audience will feel that they're a bit loose, but he's still able to walk with them.
My only criticism has to go for not making too many changes to the setlist. Personally I was expecting songs like 'Keep Yourself Alive', 'It's Late', 'Now I'm Here' or 'Headlong', but I didn't see any particular changes other than 'Take Love', and 'Dragon Attack'. I'm not very fond of 'Dragon Attack' because it just sounds too much like 'Another One Bites The Dust' and that song is already on the set list. I have to say that I really liked 'Take Love' it was a very nice song, even though this is the first time we start hearing it.
I was really upset because 'I Want It All' was dropped off the setlist. It's one of their most KICK ASS live rock songs, and I can't see a justified reason to drop it. I was very dissapointed about not seeing them perform it.

I was using 10 x 50 binocs and from the start I noticed that Brian was "favoring" one side and was having some mobility problems, that tipped me off. I had heard about the D.C. incident beforehand.
Thru the binocs I was also flipping over to Roger and watching him. Drumming is hard on the back as you have to pivot/twist side to side very quickly to do certain fills. He also looked to be hitting the snare in such a way as to not shock his left hand so much like younger drummers do.

I agree..."I Want It All" is indeed awesome live. You would think it would be something they would WANT to play since it went over so extremely well at other shows ( US included!) and it's a tune they have'nt been able to really play live now for many many years.
I honestly thought it would be back in the set for Worcester. It's a mistake to leave it out. My feeling is that if "IWIA" was played in Worcester the place would have absolutely gone ballastic! As noted in a earlier post, "IWIA" was a huge hit here in the Boston area on the local radio stations ( #1 for 6 weeks was it?)in May of 89'. If ANY city stop should have had it, it should have been Worcester...but i'm not complaining! The set was fab as it was, though as stated in my extensive review on QOL i think "Break Free" was a bit lost with this crowd. If "IWIA" replaced "BF" my God what a set THAT would have been!
Here's hoping "IWIA" finds it's way back into the set.....i'm sure many fans have already written in and asked for it.
Ah well...look on the bright side, this just means they will have to COME BACK and play it for us! Ha ha ha!! :)

Deacon i highly think that the band will continue after this. Record a studio album and as usual when you make an album PROMOTE IT! maybe they will do a world tour if the old buggers are up to it. maybe about 10 shows in usa and DEFINATLY one in worcester
