With apologies to you all, but my gut feeling is that in terms of touring the U.S. that this is the last "spin around the block". I am grateful that I attended the DCU Center show and saw the band in top-flight mode.

I wrote that globe columnist the following email:
"I read your review of the QPR show from last week. Can I just inquire as to whether or not we were at the same show? What I saw was anything but ‘superstar karaoke’.
You might take a little visit to Brianmay.com and see what the guitar LEGEND himself had to say about the Worcester show. He and many others are calling it the best Queen & Paul Rodgers show yet.
Or perhaps go over to queenonline.com or queenzone.com and see what the people there have to say.
I’d like to see whether Brian agrees that his guitar solo… oh how did you put it… I believe you said it “consisted of rudimentary chords fed through a pitch shifter and/or delay.” Interesting observation and one that I think many guitar players (myself included) would take exception to.
Finally, I searched and searched through the setlist posted on queenonline.com, but I couldn’t find where they played anything called ‘Come on Down’. Perhaps you could enlighten me as to where in the set they played it. Or for that matter what Queen or Paul Rodgers album it came from. Oh…that’s right. It doesn’t exist. That’s exactly what anyone who was paying attention to the show is going to do with your review – pretend it doesn’t exist.

Ah...to HELL with this! We all know this show has a high ranking in the short history of Queen+Paul Rogers. Who the smurf cares what some dip journalist thinks? Obviously as James123 stated, this is surely the effort of a disgruntled ex- musician from the Boston music scene. How the Hell anyone can make those comments regarding Brian's amazing and brilliant guitar work is simply beyond me.
I was having a pretty good day until i read that crap article. I'm a bit steamed, but i'm going to just blow it off.
Everyone will soon see just how damn good the DCU show was that night...so good Brian names it THE BEST show yet for Q+PR. That's saying a lot considering that Bri considered the NJ show "..the most amazing thing we may have ever done.."
I am thrilled to learn that this show was captured on Hi Fi video. Soon the world will see just how fine a performance it was...and will forget crap articles like the one above.
