I'm an atheist, my father is a university graduate of theology and a former professor of comparative religious studies (New York State, don't recall which one, I'll ask him and post it here if you wish), I have picked up a fair bit from him and am studying ancient Hebrew (pretty much the only source of this: biblical texts and commentaries on them), and have been helping a friend of mine who is currently in his third year of university on several subjects relating to Christianity for nearly two years now.
