People think Brian is in emotional pain because when they watch the music video to the song, they seem him struggling. People can't seem to tell the difference between struggling for personal problems and struggling to try to perform in a video.

Hahaha of course... what I meant wasn't the idea of having scads of women to choose from (with copulation in mind). I was thinking more of actually having two women around that I'd *care* about, and having to choose then... THAT situation would suck!

OK... I have to say some people are being rather unfair on both sides of the coin.

This is extremely touching. Now I'm aware that compared with what other people go through in life, Brian was faced with small problems. But he is only human and we all have a time when our worries and little problems get on top of us and we are distressed and we feel trapped. Brian singing TMLWKY was his way of expressing his grief and the death of a dear friend (Fred) dad and serious marriage troubles (albeit he was not entirely blameless on that front)
Freddie's version is also really touching. This was one of the songs he sang when he knew time was running out for him. He was faced with grim prospects (death) but he soldiered on and, similar to Brian, his release was the music. The song is a beautiful one either way but Freddie was the better singer, no-one is denying that. So I prefer Freddie singing it as it sounds nicer. As for Bri's tears in the video I don't know if it was an act but I strongly doubt it. They are both lovely genuine heartfelt performances of the same song.
Oh and P.S, Freddie was NOT a spoilt brat. Freddie very rarely complained about the pain he was going through. He hid it from all us fans till he could no longer and from the band members until he felt they needed to know. He never asked for any allowances or complained about his pain or even talked about it. He was extremely brave.

I'll first say freddie is my musical idol, so I don't mean anything by spoiled brat. I just mean he was a typical rich guy, he didn't cook for himself or drive and had his typical hissyfits that rich guys have, but I agree with you, the most important thing about freddie is the way he bravely delt with his illness.

I think, as i said before, that both versions are great. If you watch the video for Brian's version, you will see a very touching side to him, he sang in a very emotional way. Freddie rocked, as usual, with his version.

Ok, first of all, I like Freddie's singing more, but I quite enjoy Brian's acoustic guitars, but overall, Freddie.

Anyhoo, either way, it's certainly not one of my favourite songs off Made In Heaven. It's a Beautiful Day, Mother Love, A Winter's Tale, I Was Born To Love You, in no particular order, top my list.
To add to the promo vid debate, I dont care much for Brian's, it's just so...blah. Sorry, but Brian isnt much of an actor. I like the Freddie vid, even if it's DoRo cut and paste, it's well done.
