Am i the only person who hates Rap Music

It seems people have a Problem with me not on this site incase your wondering Dislikeing rap Music i personaly find some videos and "Songs" if they deserve to be called that rather digusting and offensive any one else think so?.

I hate today's rap! It doesn't even have good beats, and it has a whole load of techno crap. The '80s rap was so much better.

rap... hm... kanye west is fine. the rest is just... weird.

I hate most of it, Rap artist can't sing they just speak very fast so no one can understand them.

I really don't like rap, 'cause it's not even music. I let others do as they like, but I REALLY dislike like rap or country (anything else is fine). But yes! '80's rap was freakin' amazing. One of my friends had a dance for her b-day with rap music (alot of dough went into it I'm sure, but it doesn't really matter because she is REALLY nice) and invited the entire grade. The music was mediocre at best (they played some alternative) but it was HARD to dance to.
Rap should, like, be banned from my house or something...

Rap made its way to the general public around the time the last innovative bits of it died.

So basically what we've got now is a kind of 'worst-of' revival in its most commercial form.

It depends what kind of rap. I really like Eminem for example. He always has strong lyrics.

Rap is not music. It can be entertaining but it is not music.

Yeah, rap "music" sucks. It's getting to the point where I can't even listen to my favorite radio station anymore because it's playing so much of it. Most of the lyrics are full of hate and violence and degradation, glorification of "bling", and the music they use in the background is all from good, decent songs that came out in the 70's. There are some exceptions, but they are very few and very far between.

I hate rap... i just like those little chimes they use in some Usher songs :P I want a set of those.

I personally am not a fan of rap either, but there are some lyrics that contains a positive messages, like "I Can" by Nas. The lyrics to the song has a positive message, telling you to remain positive about your future (although it contains drug content) and if you work hard, then you'll know where your dream might take you. So anyway, not all rap lyrics have violence in them. However, the only songs with rap that I like are: "Lady Marmalade" by Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil' Kim, Mya, and Missy Elliot and "Waterfalls" by TLC. That's it!
