It's nice to finally have a decent conversation.
This board can get out of hand at times, but a little distance from the firefest does one a world of good.
I understand your position, and appreciate your perspective, but the main thing that's frustrating us here on QZ is that there IS all this stuff in the archives, and that we (and you) can't do anything to get it out!
Instead, we have to suffer through remixes and re-releases. I'm not trying to pin any blame on you, I'm just trying to explain my side of this story.
That's why we keep bugging you (and hopefully the rest of QP as well, as they're the ones who make the decisions) to try and get that boxset out: because we want to be floored by the depths of the Queen vault, and some of the elder ones on this board (me being only 19) preferably before they've gone deaf.
Is there any chance that you could possibly mention the demand on this message board (and on QOL as well, I'd imagine) for this boxset? If Led Zepp and the Beatles can do it, why the heck haven't the bigwigs (Brian-May-big) at QP realized that Queen should, too?

And I hate to nitpick, but could you please just quote people using that handy-dandy quote button above their post? It's the one with the two quotation marks and a piece of paper. The caps lock and script-style stuff you do can get kind of annoying.

i can't get the hang of the quoting people thing. When I keep getting that wrong it pisses off certain people, not you, who often mention it. it shows they have little to occupy them, and if it irritates them i feel inclined not to change it yet.
I did get it right once, and then I forgot again.

What I would really like to know is this....Am I right in thinking that the only concertreleases to come will be on cd AND dvd, ergo great concerts without videofootage won't ever be released?
