I don't know if this counts as a "lyric." per se.
But I'd have to go with the baby cry at the end of "Mother Love."

AKA, what to do at the last possible second when you must think of a line:
Make up crap!!

Yeah, I've never met a gravity-defying tiger.
i think a gravity-defying tiger would kick ass. :D
If a tiger jumps off a cliff 1000 feet above the ground, would it survive?
if its a gravity defying tiger, then yes.
if not, then....no.
i wonder if it would still land on its feet...
LMAO!

One that always bugged me was "Gimme fried chicken" at the end of One Vision. That's such a cool song, with cool lyrics, and they end it on this dumb in joke.
The other one that I've never liked was the useage of the word "locality" in Fat Bottomed Girls.

i agree on the whole headlong thing...Why did they have to have so strange lyrics?! it's such a good song except for the lyrics.
What's wrong with Headlong's lyrics? It's about charging, y'know, headlong into stuff.
Hmmm, I'll have to think about this.
And while I think, for all you 'Sweet-Lady-Cheese-on-a-Shelf' haters, I kind of like that line. To me it just symbolizes a woman saying that she feels like every time her boyfriend/husband calls her 'sweet' she just feels like she's just waiting around (like a cheese on a shelf) for him. I dunno - that's just always how I've looked at it.
Now, as for Queen song lines that irritate me, I really can't think of any right now!! If I do think of any, though, I'll post 'em :)

"doctors on strike."
really. what the hell?
this reminds me of... an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

It's called irony, Danny. My embarasing line is "hoop diddy diddy hoop diddy do" from HEADLONG, an critical influence on Puff Daddy's name change, I'm told.

From "I Want to Break Free":
I've fallen in love for the first time
This time I know it's for real.
This would have been better:
I've fallen in love for the first time
Oh, how I hope it's for real.
I always thought Break Free sounded kind of half-baked anyway. Even John Deacon once said it sounded flat. I don't think Queen was being critical enough of their work in the mid-'80s.

And, Queen weren't bad all the time... they just favored a strong melody rather than clever lyrics. This can be seen on the Magic Years when they try to work out the lyrics to One Vision. Queen were, at times, poetic... The Show Must Go On, Bohemian Rhapsody, I'm Going Slightly Mad, SAVE ME, Jealousy... so we can't write them off as bad lyricists... but they've had some rather embarrassing moments, I'm sure the bandmates would agree.
headlong has clever lyrics
"soup in the landry bag" is followed by "you got strings you're gonna lose your rag" Homeless people used to carry all their belongings in a landry bag tied to a stick over their shoulder-clothes, cans of food. This particular part of the song is about someone going from riches to rags.

For some reason, I've always really liked that lyric.
Me too. Don't ask me why.
