  1. Man, Roger really hates Lynard Skynard

Anyone who flies the Confederate flag endorses genocide in my opinion. Neil Young got it right with "Southern Man" I saw LS open for ZZ Top in 1999 and what a darn shame they're still allowed to tour. They're almost a...

  2. Freddies Drinks

Does anyone know anything about the glass of champagne (?) in the No-One But You video? Is this a glass left there by Freddie and no-one's touched it,(literally and figuratively!) or is it just a visual cue for that o...

  8. "so you think you can love me and leave me to die?"

Right, and "Good Old Fashioned Loverboy" was actually written about a Canadian rock group with the hit "Workin' For the Weekend"

  10. Queen + The Darkness to play 30th Anniversary gig?

seeing the Darkness Wed. 3/31 in Pittsburgh...wondering if Justin wil say anything. In the new Spin he says his favorites bands are Queen, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, and Neil Diamond. Ah well!

  11. Queen II

Queen II seems like one really long song or more like a classical composition...I would compare it favorably to Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" but hey, it's only rock n' roll... ;)

  12. How about favourite queen songs then??

Great King Rat Sweet Lady Spread Your Wings I'm in Love With My Car We Will Rock You (fast BBC) Under Pressure Radio Gaga I Want to Break Free (Wembley) The Show Must Go On (and on and on and on...) Innuendo You Don't...

  13. The Darkness to cover Somebody to Love??

I'm going to see the Darkness 3/31 at Club Laga in Pittsburgh PA.... I'd like to hear them do the fast version of WWRY, it's more like their own stuff rather than STL

  14. GVH2 flicker problems

I had the same problem, tracks 4 and 11 (Break Free and Invisible) on Disc one and the first two tracks on Disc two (Back Chat, Calling All Girls) flutter/stutter. I'm certain it's not my player; the other videos play...

  15. John the most underrated Queen member???

It's hard to pick the best JRD song, they're all great! Spread Your Wings is mostly my favorite, although You're My Best Friend is more or less perfect IMHO

  16. Hair cut!

I haven't cut my hair in 7 1/2 yrs, "Nation of Haircuts" is hilarious IMHO

  17. Queen marketing

Marketing Queen in the US is getting downright mysterious. At Breakthru 2001, Charlie D'Atri had us scribble down suggestions for Queen Rocks 2. Great idea for a compilation, horrible on the execution. We're still wai...

  18. The most underrated Queen song ever is...

I agree, Innuendo is absolutely brilliant and probably the best overall tune Queen ever recorded. It shows off every bit of their songwriting ability and flat-out rocks.

  19. Scandal

Scandal rocks, an album of this stuff and Was it All Worth It and I Want it All doesn't need Party or Rain Must Fall. Scandal rocks!! My favorite scene in the video is Brian's solo with all the ticker tape falling aro...

  20. Just A Little Observation..!

the "call and response" technique in Queen's songwriting is evident from the beginning, when crowds sang along to ALL the words at shows
