If QP is too retarded to make a decent design why don't they have a contest for fans to make one?

More proof, as if any was needed that they're a different beast withouth Fred. Musically as well as visually.

I can't imagine Fred signing off on that tat
Until I see that on a shelf at my local DVD store, there is no way anyone can convince me that this cover is for real.
It's just not possible. Someone is having a laugh. It doesn't even use the same logos and stuff as previous DVDs....
look likes it was made by somebody's son, a teenager who is using Photoshop for the first time...
even the Brazilian issue had a better cover (and it was bad!)

I really, really doubt that's the cover...it looks worse than bootlegs. And as someone pointed out, it doesn't even have the DVD logo.

I seem to be one of the few who REALLY want this DVD for the new audio mix, and the extras will be a bonus. But honestly if that's the cover I WON'T buy it...I've never had a CD or DVD cover actually make me NOT buy a product before. And I'll write Brian and let him know.

Yes, the cover for a music product is important - especially for Queen. They've had some groundbreaking ones and the artwork adds to the band's mystique and image. I would be embarrassed to show that DVD to someone and say that's a band I've supported almost 30 years.

But I really doubt that's real.

If its a mock up or whatever, why go to the trouble of mocking up large images of all three covers?
"Freddie would have loved it" - Brian May
If thats the cover, im gonna make my own....If i decide to buy it, maybe...

Well thanks everyone for that discussion, it looks like everyone is in agreemant with me about this. Just to finish off I really do hope this is not the real thing and just a mock up. Cheers.
The problem is Brian's such a nice guy, that whenever he ends up working with people with sub-par talent, he praises them and continues to work with them. He's rich after all and it's probably more worth it for him to remain friends, rather than worrying about a bad DVD cover. But it's really going overboard lately....

well, Brian released one of the worst album covers ever (Live at Brixton Academy), so I'm afraid he approves and loves this dvd atwork...

like most everyone I'm hoping that's a draft image...for many of the reasons already stated...imho the A-Z of Queen vol I had good artwork, but Queen have never done holographic cover art for a major release (wasn't there a single from the Miracle album that got one?)...and...Beck's cover for <The Information> was truly radical -- put it in the fan's hands.

The sample artwork isn't good or bad -- it's worse -- it makes me feel indifferent about buying the thing I already have anyway
and ya cant stop rockin
Funny thing is "The A-Z Of Queen: Volume I" is one of my favorite covers! It's amazing!
