Prenter, yep.  He tried apologising many times but Freddie wouldn't listen.  I don't blame him!

Yes, everything they does sucks.  Rare Live is an abomination and is best watched lying down with headache pills.  It is such a shame given the potential that's there.

I think now when you look at a band like Rush, visually since about 1990 they have people on board who understand and have actually given the band a new lease of life.

Don't know Greg Brooks personally but I have always been impressed by him and know that he has the best intentions at heart.   I just wish we could see some kind of advancement on the holy grail that is "THE" boxset.....!
He's my best friend he's my champion

Maybe this was discussed before, excuse me.  BO ALEX SUCKS!!!!!

He's complaining about "so much mistakes", so let's examine his original post:

SENTENCE #1:  Maybe this was discussed before, escuse me.
Not bad, only you mispelled "escuse" and we do NOT even have a complete sentence.

SENTENCE #2:  But I have watched several times stuff like Rare Live, Champions of the world and Magic Years and these guys really suck.
Perhaps you meant to say  "But several times I have watched stuff like" but you didn't know how to put it into proper order.  Also, you list 3 titles but only put a comma after the first one.  There should be a comma after the word "world", which should also be capitalized.  Finally you used a conjunction (AND) to join to complete thoughts, which also requires a comma after the word "Years".  Only four mistakes in this sentence.

SENTENCE #3:I mean, they always have so much mistakes with dates, Rare Live with the dates, the retrospective sequency in the begining of Champios of the world, the interviews in black and white from COTW which say "1973", but they are from 1977, and many more).
Holy crap.  Well the most noticeable error is the fact that you have closed parenthesis without opening them.  Plus, "they always have so much mistakes"... you could say that about your post, kinda.  You spelled "Champios".  Is that a new Queen breakfast cereal?  You put a comma after "I mean" for no apparent reason.

SENTENCE #4:  I don't understand too much about Cinema or documentaries or whatever you called it (sorry for my english too), but I can realise that these guys are not at the level of a band like Queen.
I didn't call it anything, but you insist I did.  You went to past tense (called) and then back to present tense in the same sentence (can realise).  As far as I know, Queen has never filmed a documentary, Cinema, or whatever you called it... so No, they are not at the same level at all.

SENTENCE #4:  In my opinion, the only good thing they've done is the "I'm going slightly mad" video.
Going Slightly Mad needs to be capitalized.

SENTENCE #5:  What do you think??
I think that you shouldn't be complaining about people making mistakes.

If you click on Bo Alex' username you will see that he comes from Argentina, the native language is Spanish. Please write up your "corrections" in Spanish - with no mistakes. You think you are funny but you are just insulting a foreign language user, how cheap.

Okay guys.
I'm English. You may know of us. We conquered the world and made sure that everyone else could speak our language so we didn't have to learn theirs!

I can't speak a word of any language except French (and even that's a struggle), so when I come on this forum and write postings and private messages to other fans whose first language ISN'T English and get replies back that I understand, it amazes me.
I may occasionally have a little laugh at how some of it is written (there have been some uncomprehensible posts!), but at the end of the day, you people speak my language and I do NOT speak yours.

By all means, correct people's written English if the intent is to help them improve, but don't slag them off.

Respect to everyone here that isn't English but writes in English, regardless of whether it is perfect or not, and "Thank You" for making life easy for this lazy Englishman!

The really odd thing is...when they're not working with Queen, their products are a lot better.

Micrówave: I only said my opionion about DoRo and ask for others users opinion. If you don't interested about this don't read this.  I alwayas try to be nice and polite, and I know the major part of the Queenzoners apreciatte this, like YV, brian wigs (thanks man! you are really nice!) and pittrek among others. But there are others like you who think having thousands of posts give them right to insult others "newer" users or treat them badly. By the way, English is not my first language so I write it and speak it how I can. I bet that you can't write all the bullshit you post everyday in spanish. It's the second time you do this: once you insulted me because I started a topic because I don't like Jamie Moses like musician, and also because my username.

So, the sucker here is you. Insulting miles away through the web to a user from a far country is not for real men.

I didn't insult you, I corrected your MISTAKES.

And then I gave my opinion about you complaining about other people's MISTAKES.

(that's right... right after you complained about other people making MISTAKES)

But, If you'd like an insult... here goes:

If BO ALEX made a video, it would probably be almost as good as a Treasure Moment video.

By the way, your username still sucks.  You have two first names.  I can't stand that!!!  Almost as bad as having a last name as your first name.  You're nobody unless you're a reliable, important, kitchen appliance.

and finally...

You're so @#$! that you can't even use the spellcheck feature.  I can.  It's really easy.  You just click the button that has a checkmark with 'abc' written above it.

So Barbara, let me get this straight.

Coming on here telling us that something "sucks" and then just rambling on about it for another paragraph is entertaining and enlightening for you.  But actually correcting someone (from Argentina) who is too lazy to see that "Champios" is spelled wrong is just crossing the line.  He's even got the nerve to insult them for things beyond their control.  I don't believe Rudi was the one who labelled all the tapes "1973", but BO ALEX seems to hold them responsible.

It really did sound like an Argentinian Breakfast Cereal, didn't it?

Ok, well you get your kicks and I'll get mine.

To all you offended Argentinians:
If I decide to visit one of your websites, I'll make sure I hable enough español so that I don't look like a complete tool.  But then to some people, an Argentian tool with an opinion is entertaining and enlightening.  The Argentinian Brian May T-Shirt Scandal sure was.

Indeed. Their documentaries and concert films are among the worst I've seen. I watched a Ramones documentary recently and it was entertaining and interesting to me even though I don't even like the Ramones! However, the DoRo idiots make me not want to watch footage of a band I actually do like. Quite incredible. They have the attention spans of hyperactive children and cannot seem to focus on one image, angle or interview for more that a split second before cutting to something else. Presumably they think this is 'exciting': it's not, it's f**king annoying beyond belief!

I happen to think that DoRo do not "suck".  If I wanted to challenge the topic starters opinion I would use examples. You, however, did not challenge the topic starter's opinion, you counted spelling errors and missing commas. That's pretty cheap when you deal with a foreign language speaker. Spanish is only my 3rd foreign language and when I speak Spanish it's certainly by far not so good as Bo Alex' English. It's probably very funny for the natives but they respect the effort. I have never met Spanish speaking people who acted superior because of other peoples' language deficit. Bo Alex does not look like a "tool" to me at all - whatever this is supposed to mean.

As already stated, I'm Going Slightly Mad was fun and creative. I feel this should have been our Freddie's last video instead of TATDOOL. He had enough make-up on to hide behind, unlike TATDOOL where he still looks terrible inspite of the make-up artist's best efforts and the B&W video. The whole video has a gloomy feel, not like Freddie would have wanted. IGSM has a good mix of colour and B&W which could have been used to our Freddie's advantage.

To Doro's credit, they managed to extract what IMO is the most entertaining interview given by our Freddie - the Musical Prostitute interview in GVH2. But then I guess we can put that down to our Freddie being in a particualrly good mood on that occasion, and maybe a bit high :-)

The Torpedo Twins represented Queen so it was their duty to get the facts right. In any case, I (like Bo) am just giving my opinion (for free) while they intended to entertain us and got paid for it.

Bowie's response to Rudi in our Freddie's tribute concert documentary was funny. Infact I liked this documentary better than the actual concert even :-D

I have tried to be careful with my english (but please do correct me if I have made any errors).

I'm quite sure Ramones fans wouldn't like that documentary for the same reasons we don't like Champions of the World of Rare Live. For the average fan these documentaries give a good overview of an artist - but as soon as you know a bit more about the history of the band, you'll notice faults and stuff. But the target group for, say Champions of the World, does not consist of die-hard Queenfans. Same goes for almost every release we've seen in the last decade.
