I don't suppose you'll like this response, but first of all success is a pretty broad term. I don't think that DoRo videos were seen by millions because DoRo were revolutionary directors or editors. They were seen by millions because they worked for Queen.
Being hypothetical for a second, if Queen had hired another team to do their documentary stuff or music videos or interviews ... whatever you like - would we know who the Torpedo Twins even were? That is, of course, assuming they wouldn't have gone to work for U2 instead. Heh.

Mmmm... given ten years hindsight, that might have been his opinion. I think the video is probably what Freddie would have wanted though, considering he was still alive when it was made.
This is why I would like a GVH3 DVD. It would be nice to know a bit of the background of the Innuendo videos; they're among my favourite Queen videos. If not too much space on the DVD is taken up by Wyclif Jean and Elton John, who knows - we might get some decent special features.

I agree with this. I didn't like the musical direction much in the concert itself, but in the behind the scenes stuff you get quite a palpable sense of just how much the musicians appreciated Freddie and Queen.

Do you think success means all for an artist? So Tokio Hotel and The Jonas Brothers are great just because they are successfull.
Also, I agree with Zebonka: if they are known, is just because they work for Queen. They are not like Scorcese doing a film for The Rolling Stones: in that case, the two artists are respected and famous.
Returning to the first discussion about DoRo, I think that details like finding out the correct date from the b/w interviews were part of their job, and they didn't do it well. Also, I think their videos (for Queen, I don't know their others works in their career) are so repetitive and predectible: for example, Too Much Love Will Kill You video has the same idea of The Show Must Go On one, but they are the same idea for all (or the major part)Queen Rocks Video too.
By the way, I think Rare Live is the worst thing they have done: there are so much fake info about dates and audience, that it "makes my eyes bleed".

I'll be honest man, I gotta disagree with you, Zebonka has said some things that I'm not exactly crazy about; but I certainly don't think he's a detriment to this site's forums. That simply isn't fair, you would have to rule out a majority of the veterans here (I'm a guilty party, but I'm no veteran on here) that just love to be cynical, and they have their own jokes and what not. If you think Zebonka is a troll, do you want to know who a troll is that makes Zebonka look like nothing? Try Treasure Moment and it's "members." I had another account on here a long time ago, and I left because I got sick of their bullshit, and a couple of other users...& because they're so damned annoying anytime they get on some freaky tangent about Freddie sporting a sidepipe, and how it turned them on, or how they would outdo Freddie's groupies from the infamous 'New Orleans party' theres a few that just lace into 'em and let them have it.
