Good news indeed.  But I won't believe it until I know it is legitimate.

Oh cool, another "RIP Queen" person.  Quick, sing it with me people - maybe we can get more of them in here.

Queen might be touring in 2010!! Woohoo!!

there was a time when this news would have been exciting for me, but those days are long gone.  Roger's solo stuff=boring for me.  I'm tired of his singing in a phone booth style.  Brian is one of my all time favorite musicians, but doesn't seem all that interested in writing creative music.  The cosmos rocks is already collecting dust, and to be honest the second queen + paul tour was boring.  Playing the same old songs they played the first time around.

Hopefully they'll do a small tour together, in some smaller venues.... more intimate, more classics, more Queen. :-)

All the respect for Paul Rodgers... but we've seen two tours of the same right now. It's time for a change.
I got to try al little more, because I'm an asshole but I'm learning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfTLkUcQ7QY

Anything in 2010 would be good, A Roger Solo tour, a Roger/Brian tour, I agree with The Mir@cle  if Paul is involved then we need a change of direction.

Roger/Brian Tour would be good!
But my dream is: Freddie on the screen with the band that plays the songs together with the sound of Freddie's voice like they do on the first part of Bohemian Rhapsody!
This time perhaps John will accept to join Brian and Roger... maybe for just one gig but it would be better than nothing!

Musicians should understand to retire before they become an embarrassment to their fans.

2005 called. It wants its then-current topic back.  :)

I wasn't here in 2005 so I don't know what you guys were talking about, but if you've been through this already then surely you shouldn't talk of any forthcoming "Queen" tours at this point. And regardless of year there can ever be only one reaction to news like this... Brian and Roger: PLEASE STOP IT ALREADY!

My dream is to see Roger and Brian performing Queen stuff again together ... and if John joins, well, that would be more than a dream !

But I´m sorry to say your dream is the last thing I want to see in my life: Freddie on screen during a whole show? that sounds ridiculous to me. And that was one of the things I didn´t like of the TCR Tour: having him on screen in two songs.

Go on, Rog & Bri, and John too, doing all the Queen stuff you want, but no more Freddie on screen please. I think it is disrespectful.

It is fine if you want to honour him with some pictures on the screen or a subtle video ala Bijou, but more than that ... mmmmm .... no, thanks

I could understand if you say that you don't like when they play with Freddie on screen but to say that it is disrespectful for me has no sense... why you think is disrespectful?
It's a great moment during Queen + PR gigs and everybody enjoys this moment and sing the song together with Freddie in an atmosphere of emotion and admiration for his figure and his importance in the history of music and for the history of Queen.

I think it is disrespectful as I see it like ... taking advantage of Freddie´s figure

As I said, honouring him in the way they did in 2005 with the Bo Rhap video and recently with Bijou is fine; it is moving, both for the band and the fans/audience .... but more than that, using him in 2, 4, 5, 7 songs ... no please, no.

I imagine the remaining Beatles doing the same with John and George, or Nirvana with Cobain, or The Doors with Morrison, for a full show, and it makes me laugh. Really.

So, that´s the reason why I don´t want my favorite musicians following that way

I respect your opinion Vali. Yes a full tour with Freddie on screen will be boring, I would like to see only one show with Freddie on screen and John playin' with Bri & Rog and Spike on keyboards with no other musicians.
Just for one concert (maybe for the 40th annyversary) I was thinking at it like a good idea.
A whole tour no... it would be boring and yes will take advantage of the figure of Freddie and will put Bri and Roger in a corner just like secondary musicians. But for a gig will be a good idea to commemorate the anniversary in this way instead of a "Tribute concert replica" with other singers (or only Paul) that sing Queen songs.
