I agree with this.

He's not Freddie, and no one should say he's trying to be, but he certainly is showy and flamboyant. Queen was a showy band because of Freddie. He didn't just write and sing phenomenally well, he entertained. I think Adam entertains, too, though in his own way. Even if it's for only a year, with Adam singing their songs, I think the popularity of their music will see a major surge.

I agree... after Roger and Brian laying into reality based music shows like INXS and Idol related shows... it would be damn ridiculous to have someone with NO established (if any) routes in music writing, experience. imo

But, if they wanted to they could do as they please. Wouldn't ruin the Queen legacy even in the slightest. Real Queen (a la the 4 of them) is set in stone and always will be. What B and R want to do now to pass the time is simply up to them. What and who do they need to prove themselves to?

I still don't think they'd do it. Still more likely to just go it alone, just the two of them. I'd love that, they have the tools and could have filled a concert with just the two of them (without PR) quite easily I think.

I think Adam should do a couple of songs with them but go solo and kick ass. He'll be huge and famous I promise. More than any other AI contestant, he's above AI.

It would be interesting to hear Lambert try Great King Rat & Killer Queen.  Does he play bass?

i vote that Adam Lambert be the one to re-record all the songs from The Cosmos Rocks and even do it right away .....  maybe they can release it all over once again, with better promotion.
