i vote that Adam Lambert be the one to re-record all the songs from The Cosmos Rocks and even do it right away ..... maybe they can release it all over once again, with better promotion.

Im a Queen fan of 22 years...
I own every Uk CD, Album, Casette, DVD, Video and 7" single, including solo.
I was at the Freddie Tribute in 1992, Ive been and had my photo at Logan Place and went to Freddies statue in Montreux.
I owned a Brian May guitar and I have the Crest tattoo'd on my leg.....and that bloody well hurt.
I cannot abide the ruthless advertising by Brian over his bloody "musical".......its not my thing.
I thought TCR was a bit pants, with the exeption of All Things That Glitter,
I consider myself a true fan and always will be........I love Freddie to bits, I cried for days when he died........I even got sent home from school because my teachers all knew I was a 14 year old "superfan"......and my mates still give me grief about that to this day.
Anyway.......................
So I just flicked on to YouTube and watched this guy Adam Lambert to see what all of this fuss was about..............fucking amazing.
What a performance and what a voice. I would pay and go to see him without a shadow of a doubt.
I am not a fan of talent shows at all. But this bloke is superb. You have to really stand out and be counted.....like Leona, her version of Run still gives me goosebumps.
I have always thought I listen to "proper" music, by bands and singers who have always made it on their own merit by working bloody hard to acheive their goals instead of going down the talent (less) shows but Im afraid on this occasion, as with Leona - I have to make exeptions.

Paul Rodgers is an incredibly lousy motherfucker. Poor singer.
This kid is really REALLY great.
Judging by Brian and Roger's performances on The Cosmos Rocks... THEY should beg him to sing with them.
I hope they get together and tour. I'd love to see that, specially if Brian ASSHOLE May decides to play something that's actually worth it and no more Tie your mother down and Fat bottomed girls.
But, if you see it that way, Adam is the kind of guy that'd rather sing Somebody to Love than... i.e Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Brian is too self-overhyped to play more Freddie songs. He prefers to play his shittiest rock n roll songs (instead of some of his great works like Save Me, which is a very well known song. Not a little number for the die hard fans).

Off topic....Sorry - but it was funny to read your rant of the last paragraph and then your siggie immediately following...about how you saw Brian May in 08 and it was the best night of your life. :D

Oh, you see. It was my dream, seeing him live. Playing and all. I wasn't even sure the guy was real till I saw him. It was a great emotive moment to me but because of him, the songs he played didn't say much, actually.
He could play much better songs, that he wrote himself. But he had chosen some pretty shitty ones for Paul MOTHERFUCKER Rodgers to sing.

What a poignant tale. Kleenex anyone?

I've never heard him sing, so I cant judge, but I'll say one thing, its time to call it quits. They're were people complaining about Paul Rodgers (even though I loved him). I thought he did very well, for the time he was in. Brian shot himself in the foot in the late 90's having Robbie Williams, John Farnham and other guests joining them for songs. Its become a joke and a parody. I reckon Freddie would roll over in his grave with all this happening. Go back to solo work Brian please.
