So does anyone else care about Iran?

Oh, great. On the one side, we have the Mrs. Bad Guy-figure giving a good impression of a monkey slamming the 'Nuke' button, on the other we have Microwave being his regular obnoxious self, then there is YV who has taken out her blood-curdling political correctness act again, and fatty's too busy making fun of the non-recyclable parts of Michael Jackson to provide some comic relief here.

And then, as if it isn't enough, there is a post claiming that there are two Zoners who think they have the absolute answer to everything, and I'm not in the list!!!

Someone (let's call them Mrs Gad Buy) makes an ill-judged comment concerning a soloution to the problems in Iran. Along comes someone else (let's call them Bezonka12) who takes this comment seriously and chides Mrs Gad Buy for their staggering levels of ignorance on the subject.

At this point it might have been wiser for Mrs Gad Buy to point out that her (or is it his?) remarks were not supposed to be taken literally and were probably made just to express her (or is it his?) frustration at what seems to be a hopeless situation. Chances are, Bezonka12 would nod his (or is it her?....No it's definately a him, he's got a moustache. Mind you so has my wife.) head and hark back to a similar situation in which his use of the word "Faggot" was taken seriously and he was branded a homophobe. Realising that the whole thing had been a bit of a mis-understanding, things would soon return to normal. Mrs Gad Buy and Bezonka12 would become bosom buddies, romance would blossom and within a month or two they would marry. Providing of course that Mrs Gad Buy is in fact a female. After all it's a well known fact amongst Queenzoners that Bezonka12 hates queers.

Okay. Now that that's been sorted out I have a question of my own. Is it just me or does anyone else think that the holocaust never actually happened?

yes.  anyone else does care about Iran.  however, it's still unclear how much of the Savak's tactics will be used before Iran implodes further.  it shouldn't have an effect on OPEC, but speak, Neda, SING!!!

Interestingly Norman Schwarzkopf, General over American forces in Desert Storm, was one of the original CIA trainers for the Shah's secret police.

I wouldn't so much call that interesting as obvious. The Iranian revolution of '79 was, in part, a response to US backing of a hated and corrupt leader. Who was replaced by a hated, corrupt and fundamentalist leadership.
