Not sure what to expect. Sounds better than I expected. A bit trite. It's curiously refreshing though.

After seeing what Brian said about the performance, I had to wonder if anything could live up to that. You are right about the refreshing part. That's a good description. It is off to a rather grand beginning, and is stuck in my head now. Damn them for not giving up the whole thing!
Here is a link for the mp3 download preview clip at Amazon, which will be available for sale on Oct 20th. It is much better than the movie clip.

EDIT: Went back to watch the movie clip again, and I'd have to say that they are not the same section, though the theme repeats of course. Both worth listening to. The Amazon clip is less cluttered by the movie stuff.

Which is why it will be a radio mega-hit.

Adam helped announce the American Music Award nominees today, and later in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Adam said he would be performing whatever single they go with from his upcoming album on the show on November 22nd.

Here is an interesting video of an interview with Rob Cavallo about working with Adam and his upcoming album:

I was kinda hoping for something that wouldn't sound like every other song ever written... but on the other hand he puts in a fantastic vocal, no doubts there.

In the interview, Rob Cavallo said that Adam's vocal range covers every note from lowest to highest on the guitar. I know from what I have heard that he has a terrific range, but does anyone think that is even possible?

There's singers who can go further in either direction.  Myself, I've not yet heard him sing anything that would prove that statement.
Also depends on the guitar.  Hell, if it had 18 frets then I could say the same thing about myself, hahaha...

Try this one. At the very least it will be something totally different than you have likely heard out of Adam. Actually this one blows me away more than most of the other stuff because you really have to be able to sing to do it like this:

It's very, very lonely being wholly indifferent to Mr. Lambert.  But I like it. [/img]

Oh trust me, something I've never doubted is his singing ability!  I can't quite understand people who dismiss him purely as an Idol flash in the pan ... okay, he might be one, but he also happens to be one of the ones that can actually do his trade.

BTW Greatful Fan, thank you for keeping the topic bumped back to the top!

Z.......well I just had to establish that. I have no idea who else, if anyone, checks out this thread. I thought there were a couple others here who were somewhat interested in Adam, so I have kept updating the thread with the addition of some links to events as they unfold. Hey, maybe nobody else gives a rat's ass!

Both my ol' man and I think Adam is the best singer we have heard in a coon's age, and he reminded us of Freddie in certain ways before we started seeing that other old farts like us were on the same wave length. Speaking for myself, besides the great singing, he is like watching some exotic creature. Right now it is a real hoot that he has made the cover of another magazine called Details. I never heard of it before, but they have a whole run of pictures of he and a naked gal, which are quite racy. Who'd have thought that they would feature the gay guy in this fashion? Perhaps they want to keep the fantasy alive for all of the girls who are going crazy over him in spite of him being gay.

I like the link above to him singing in Brigadoon if for no other reason than that I can actually hear his voice, rather than the over-produced Time For Miracles from 2012. But it is a disaster movie, so what else would one expect?

Well, enough!

Ha!  I must be nuts, I don't mind a bit of overproduction here and there ... I just think the song itself could've been a little less generic, but that's the balance one has to strike when they're trying to sell something.  There's no denying his talents either way - that's a voice you can't create in the studio.  'Tidy up', maaaaybe, but I know vocal fuxing when I hear it and there isn't much going on there.

Must admit he sounds good in this song. Much better than expected.  He reminds me of michael crawford a bit.
