Yeah, I can see that. He'd be a tenor, and who knows where his career will take him now? He is not quite the babe-in-the-woods about the music scene that many AI contestants probably are, and he has definite ideas about how he wants to proceed, that have him striking a balance between art and commercial appeal. So will see what happens.

I don't think that anyone here needs to worry about him becoming a frontman for Queen, though I hold out hope for an appearance yet.

Adam is fucking great.

I've seen comments running from one extreme to the other today about the TFM video. As far as the song and video - they are what they are, which is pretty commercial. When Brian was raving about having heard Adam singing TFM, he was speaking about Adam's performance, not about the song itself, which is OK but nothing to write home about. If Adam wasn't singing it I wouldn't be paying any attention to it. But I think his rendition of the studio version of [i]Feelin' Good[/i] from AI were more impressive, but it is a better song too.

Who on earth told him it would be a great idea to look like a lead singer in an all girl 80's cover band?
For a second there I thought I was looking at the bass player for the Go-Gos. :P

Hehehe. I guess that's the androgynous look, with lots of airbrush? Overcompensation for the photoshoot with the mostly naked gal in [i]Details[/i]? A percentage at Adomofficial were kind of speechless too - jaws on floor I guess. Adam does pretty much as he pleases with this stuff, and I guess he will either sink or swim because of it. Wasn't what anyone was expecting, but he did that on Idol too. Rock one week, ballad the next, then maybe something jazzy or soul next time - keep 'em guessing. So I guess it is something of an MO.

Oh, there's like 21 pages of mostly unkind remarks about Adam's cover at communitylivejournal-ohnotheydidn't too. So you guys will have to sharpen up your tongues quite a bit! [img=/images/smiley/msn/devil_smile.gif][/img]

The 2012 song is pretty dull.  What a bloody performance though!  Great stuff on his part.

I certainly won't disagree.
He's saying that the single from his album will be released for download next week - supposedly a previously unreleased  Pink song, [i]What Do You Want From Me.
[/i]I'd rather see him in front of a band with real instruments and musicians who are all contributors, and all having something to offer than accompanied by artificial music.
But one thing at a time. Let's see where he is going...........
