Bob Ludwig remasters, an audio commentary for each album, improved art plus 75 bonus tracks in the whole catalogue seems a good deal to me for what is essentially meant to be a replacement of the current CDs. And all this in the first year? Way to go, Island Records!

Approx. 5 extra tracks per bonus CD in the DELUXE Editions, yes. Fair enough.

5 bonus tracks per album is Ok for a 'mere reissue' of Queen's catalog.
Still, that's a lot of wasted space on those bonus CDs.

Most of Queen's albums are under 45 minutes long, which means that these extra tracks could actually fit on disc one.

Maybe one of the bonus tracks will be a 20+ minute audio commentary by Brian and Roger to make up for the extra space?

For completists' sake, I hope the extra tracks include the B sides, a couple of demos and/or every extended 12" version. This sounds more like 8 or 10 bonus tracks... but 5??

I won't worry. No matter what they include there, there's no way every fan is pleased :).

75 bonus tracks @ 5 tracks per album = 15 CDs 75 tracks @ approx 11 tracks per CD   =   7 CDs How much do you think one album would cost ? Maybe we could gather 15 trusted people to each buy one album and then ..............

What do I expect from the Re-issues?

Surprises !
Things that I can't name so far, things that I have no idea about that they might exist.
Cause that's what Queen was about in their active days. You never knew what happened next or how the next tour would look like....

The bonus CDs on the DELUXE Editions would contain audio commentary for EACH song on the respective album PLUS the extra tracks.

It's my understanding that tracks from each album will be re-recorded with Paul Rodgers on vocals. I don;t know the exact ones, but I would suggest the following for the first two albums:

---Queen---
KYA
Liar
Doin Alright
Jesus
The Night Comes Down

---Queen II---
Ogre Battle
Seven Seas of Rhye
White Queen
Loser in the End
Nevermore

I take it that last comment from Holly is a joke. A very sick, disturbing joke.
No Freddie, No John.....No Queen

Thanks for the info about Chicago Mr. Bed Guy....I doubt I will get the extra stuff on 19.  I have no interested in hearing the singles version of those songs.  That'd a let down, for sure.
