Regarding the Stormtroopers In Stilettos exhibition... a few things to look for...
Now I'm Here is not TOTP. It's from an Xmas edition of '45 and it was a significant find in the archive. Not every tape in the vault is quite what it seems when it's eventually investigated, that's why it took so long to come to light. A similar thing happened in the Bob Marley archive I recall... archivists finding tapes containing things NOT noted on the box. These things happen.... especially when you're dealing with thousands of items, many undated and/or not written up properly.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Thousands of items??????!!! So there is more than we had imagined first when you came up with your QP list (approved by mr. Beach) of recordings. haha :-) Silent hint????

Well "everyone" ... I seriously doubt you come to Slovakia :-) But it would be nice to be able to see it

Not as much memorabilia as you'd liked Greg? Don't worry, we can see it all in your 'I Want It All' book when we buy it! :-)

DGAA wrote: Sorry Greg, but that's not true;) Look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8QRpPvxj8w It comes from TOTP 27th February 1975 and the background is exactly the same -----
Actually, it seems that the guy there is playing John Deacon's Fender Precission Bass.

ferdy wrote: for me it was great see picture of a red label from mercury records of the Smile single. It was supposed to be only a promo issue. Greg, do you know if it's a withdrawn US issue or from Canada? I'm not sure, Ferdy, off the top of my head. I'll look into it next time I'm in the archive - probably tomorrow.

No, CMS, approximately 60% LESS than I expected. Very annoying indeed, and unnecessary in my opinion. Not enough case space. Less is more! etc etc etc etc zzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
And yes you're dead right... 100% of it will be in the I Want It All book. Excellent point.

Greg,
Did you read the post of Sir GH on the other tread. According to the pics there must be three versions around of NIH from TOTP? Agreed?
Sir GH quote:
Incredible stuff... thanks for filming and getting this footage out there.
If I had the money I'd be crossing the pond to see the exhibition myself, but this is a close enough second ! So Brian is playing a Les Paul, the only such footage in existence. So I guess this means there are three versions of Now I'm Here then? There are also these two... are they both from Now I'm Here TOTP video shoots too?
The SIS exhibition is truly fantastic. My favourite bit was in the text on the wall where Rhys Thomas repeated the 'defamation of character' of a certain ex-Queen manager in the entry for "A Night At The Opera''. Hope they cut that bit out of the remastered sleevenotes?

Did anyone who went notice the tape box containing multitrack audio of Hyde Park 76? Dodgy audio was always the reason given as to why this could not be released - but could it be released now?
