And now I know why I left this board.. so many haters for ppl that TRY to sing Queen songs.. yeah, we get it.. NO ONE IS GOING TO BE BETTER THAN FREDDIE!! but seriously give it a rest. I think she did a great job.. she didn't TRY to be Freddie and gave it a little fresh sound.. but what do I know.. I am just an American..
How did they fix Freddies "Fuck you!" at the end of the Wembley-chant? Was it "Thank you!" by Gary Mullen, I couldn't make it out!
a new low and Adam lambert was the pits! jessie j is a sexy girl but that was shit. would have been betterb to play with muse and had matt bellamy sing!

She wasn't TERRIBLE, far from it. She didn't 'destroy' or 'crucifiy' the song, though i'm far from the hardcorest of fans on this site
very desapointed with her destroyed WWRY...
but brian and roger was very good

freddie on the giant screens was great. The wwry performance could have been better with me singing, haha! . Anybody noticed that at the end of the improv. freddie says "thank you" instead of "fuck you". i think they used the budapest gig for that final line.
Thought the Freddie thing was amazing...shame they edited the 'fuck you', although i knew they had to.
I don't understand why Brian felt a guitar solo would hold the audiences attention for that long? It was cringe-worthy...could have got another guest singer to sing 'We Are The Champions' in that time.
Might get criticism for that comment, but it's for a mainstream audience...that's why Brian didn't get a solo at Live Aid.

LOL! I didn't notice that. I recorded the Queen bit so I'll be looking for that when I rewatch. :D
Very nice performance, Brian, Roger and Jessy J. She did end music I like the Olympics :)
The best thing about the whole show was Freddie on the big screen (woke everyone up) - and George Michael was pretty good. The rest was just weird and for me, not at all entertaining.
edit - It's not over, so I guess there's hope :)

you know what
I would have LOVED that hologram
Probably blasphemy on here but what the fuck
I don't know if I would have loved the hologram, but I was curious to see it.
I wonder if they couldn't get it to work and dropped it, or if there was never a hologram and the press got it wrong.
