Back in February the QOL admin dropped a HUGE hint that Knebworth would be out on CD this summer. Sadly that didn't happen.

What was the hint? Was it general enough that it also could've referred to the Budapest gig, which we did get?
I still think Knebworth wasn't recorded. Record a gig is hard and expensive, even in our times, so much more back in the 80's. Thanks to God we have Budapest in HD, and is very rare, film a gig in this quality at the time.
And the two Wembleys in standard quality, with those two, QP probably don't want to record another gig. Maybe is true that the cameras only feed the gigant screen and wasn't record anything.

Finally a reason to buy it ?
I think the picture quality is a twinge better than the Montreal release, but make sure you get your television set up properly for the audio because otherwise it sounds very flat. Mine has a music mode which made it sound really good.
The documentary is quite interesting, if a little lacking in actual information. I thought the footage of Slane Castle and Knebworth was interesting but it seems like most of the snippets of the other concerts is just bootleg stuff included to pad out the documentary.

I guess none of you would upload the documentary somewhere for a limited time :-)

I asked the admin if he could drop us a hint on what live releases to expect this year. He replied by posting a link to the looking for the Knebworth baby.
...and I think the CD's sound better than the blu-ray video. It is nice that they include the missing tracks.
any chance of some lovely person posting a download link of the CD's :)
That review was reading well until the last line, when it lost all credibility to me...

What's wrong with "Highly recommended" ?
Nothing, it just says before that, that it was the last concert with Freddie Mercury.
Yeah, that one's "slightly" incorrect :-)
