There's still some cuts.
Before Freddie says "This is Under Pressure.", on the bootleg he says "What the fuck are we doing?". He doesn't on Hungarian Rhapsody CD's.
Then one "hey" is missing before Hammer To Fall - on the bootleg you can clearly here Freddie going "hey hey hey hey hey" but on the Hungarian Rhapsody CD's, he only goes "hey hey hey hey".

Another one bites the dust from Hungarian Rhapsody cd's:

I compared some more now - the little guitar warm up before Crazy Little Thing Called Love is also missing from the Hungarian Rhapsody CD's.

Would you find the time to check for all cuts/overdubs etc. ?
I notice Brian's guitar sounded different from the Liar intro into Tear it up without him near his pedal board
Budapest edits:
One Vision - initial guitar solo overdubbed
"what the fuck are we doing" missing before Under Pressure
a few seconds missing before after Under Pressure
a few seconds missing before CLTCL
silence between encores shortened
I think that's it.
Or ... didn't someone once say there were Freddie overdubs on Under Pressure? I don't remember any off hand. The Roger backing vocal in the second verse that was on the old VHS has been removed.

Here is another missing bit in Freddie's speech before Who wants to live forever:
Freddie says at some point ''If it wasn't for you we would not be here tonight, EVEN THIS IS OUR FIRST NIGHT, thank you very much we will be back'' etc..
The line ''Even this is our first night'' is missing on the new release.

Excellent, just what I needed. Any chance you would do the same for Knebworth - audience recording and Live Magic please ?
There's a sound missing in A Kind Of Magic during the bass and drums solo, a bit after the "we'll soon be gone" before it. The percussion on the VHS goes tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-pam-tut-tut, but the pam is replaced with another tut in Hungarian Rhapsody (I noticed that even in the A Kind Of Magic video they posted online back in September). The pam is also faintly audible on the bootleg, so for some reason it was "fixed" in Hungarian Rhapsody.

Before Seven Seas Of Rhye on Live Magic, Freddie goes "Hello!
I don't care what any performer says... you won't find a live release of any kind that doesn't have some kind of minor fixes / edits on it. And I consider these Budapest edits (esp. considering what a perfectionist band Queen were in the studio) minor and perfectly fine.
Hearing Freddie's voice crack on FBG from Live at the Bowl is interesting, and yes true to history, but not what i want coming out of my speakers every time i play the song...
anyway - as a fan, i do really enjoy knowing what they've taken out and changed for various releases, so many thanks to those who have taken time and effort to compare bootlegs with official releases.
and last, as one who purchased the deluxe Blu-Ray and CD set, I think it's the finest sounding Queen concert release since Montreal (by far). The film transfer is truly stunning and the band's performance was stellar. Though I was slightly disappointed when this was first announced (b/c it's been out there before and seen by most) i'm convinced now that this show deserved a proper updated release. One of their finest shows from the Magic Tour imho...

Before Seven Seas Of Rhye on Live Magic, Freddie goes "Hello! <percussion>" then says something else but in the audience recording he says also another thing that was obviously cut on Live Magic.
Then on Live Magic, the speech and vocal improvisation that should have been after A Kind Of Magic, was moved to after Another One Bites The Dust, and cut anyway - part of the vocal improvisation is cut (one part of what was cut is present on the 1999 Under Pressure Knebworth Mix.
The entire part of the speech after "It looks beautiful from here!" and before "It's frightening, really, it looks beautiful!" was also cut.
Also Tie Your Mother Down has the entire second verse cut.
In The Lap Of The Gods... Revisisted and Tear It Up are missing altogether, A Kind Of Magic is a reworked version of the Budapest recording with the snareless part of the drum and bass solo replaced with one either from Knebworth or from one of the two Wembley nights, the entire Budapest vocal improvisation and fool around being cut, retaining only "This is Under Pressure." and Under Pressure itself. Before Another One Bites The Dust, the speech is butchered - part of percussion and a line Freddie Says as well as the audience laughing as Freddie fools around a bit is removed.
The fade out after the vocal improvisation ends too early, removing a line from Freddie (audible on the 1999 Under Pressure Knebworth Mix). Who Wants To Live Forever is missing completely, as is the intro of I Want To Break Free, cut up to the start of the first verse. Everything between I Want To Break Free and Is This The World We Created is cut too, and Is This The World We Created is possibly from Wembley 1986-07-11.
Tutti Frutti and the speech before Bohemian Rhapsody are cut, as is the entire opera section of Bohemian Rhapsody. Hammer To Fall is replaced with the one from Wembley 1986-07-12.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love is cut completely, Radio Ga Ga has a large part cut as well (the audience recording shows the full song was peformed on Knebworth as well), there's an inexplicable fade out between Radio Ga Ga and We Will Rock You, reasons are unknown.
And We Will Rock You, Friends Will Be Friends, and We Are The Champions all three have parts cut, if I recall correctly. God Save The Queen is missing completely.
Also, the first half of the intro of One Vision is cut to, as the track fades in in the middle of the intro.
Nice analysis of the cuts, can you spot also the overdubs ?
Electronic drum effects during Brian's solo in Who wants to live forever are missing, but they could of been added to the mix on 87 vhs version. Just a little annoyed the snare drum sound has been messed with. Love the snare sound on 87 mix and live magic cd. Still little disappointing they left out a lot of behind the footage scenes. (most of what we seen on youtube and magic years vhs.)
