For QOL presale, use code ROCKYOU.
For AMEX presale, use code 8005282122.

I am not getting decent tickets.

Should I wait for general sale?

I got fan club seats for the Q-PR tour, tickets were decent. Sold those, got tickets day of concert, far better.

Well, better safe than sorry. I got decent (not great) tickets for the MSG show but I will continue to look for upgrades and maybe resell the ones I just got.

I'm in Section 106, Row 7.

My wife purchased two second level tickets at MSG for her and a friend......after being on line at the start, using two computers, for the final concert in Columbia to get tix for the two of us.

Only lawn seats were available, as the pavilion was already sold out!?!?!?

Which is fine with us......but, seriously, that many brokers had the code?

I'm so laughing at the naysayers who said the sales for this concert were going to be unsuccessful. They sold out in 5 minutes in Philly. Have to get separate seats in some locations because of the demand. Queen is NOT dead in the USA!

Oh, sweet victory for those who wisely chose not to open their mouths until ticket sales began..

It's nice to get satisfaction out of being proven right, but taking ticket sales as the evidence to prove the merits of this collaboration is just as one-sided as denouncing it purely because of the singer.

A part of the problem that Queen fans have with Adam Lambert is his solo success. While it helps to boost the ticket sales, it's also going to change how the group appears in public.

In the 80's Queen were lucky when Freddie failed with his solo career, and they were forced to continue as they were. Now Brian & Roger are deliberately bringing in a solo star to improve their public appeal, and it's going to draw attention away from the band.

In the long run that isn't going to help the band, but I guess they are more interested the next quarter just like any other business.

Interesting interpretation. Methinks Bri and Rog are thinking long term, trying to reach the next generation of fans... and doing it with someone with some street cred isn't a bad idea.

That said, Lambert's career isn't exactly booming right now, so maybe they both need each other a bit.

Either way, judging by today's ticket sales this tour is going to be a commercial success. Whether or not it'll be an artistic success is to be determined..

And you wonder why you were banned by QOL in the first place, eh CNB?

Boger's definition of "long-term" is riding on the coattails of their previous success AND appearing with trendy artists at the same time... Nothing proves it better than the endless versions of Queen+XXX performing We Will Rock You.

The only problem with their plan is that artists are only appearing with Queen once they are on their way down.

Ticket sales in general are a really bad indicator of anything other than... ticket sales. Which aren't even that indicative if you remember just how huge a market the USA is. The USA has a population 58 times that of Finland, and 300,000 tickets sold in the USA equals to 5,000 tickets (or 1/3 of an arena) in Finland.

Not sure if that's a fair comparison, since they wouldn't book 20 arena dates in Finland since there is obviously not enough population (nor arenas) to fill them up.

There's no freedom of speech over there and you know it! It is disgusting walking on eggshells when others are allowed to say anything they want to, the nastier the better. I've never told anyone to "fuck off" like so many others do and I've always spoken very highly of Freddie and the original members of the band.

Just bought two floor seats for Philadelphia so it most definately didn't sell out in 5 minutes.

I would be very (pleasantly) surprised if this is a sell out tour, despite what Ticketmaster and other websites seem to indicate very early.

I think what my source must have meant was that the presale tickets sold out in 5 minutes. I'm sure seats will be available right up until the time of the concert, but will they jack up the prices?

Sweet Caroline,

The Phila. tix did not sell out in five minutes. There's plenty of tickets left. Just went on the site.
