No, I know you didn't say anything about Brian and Roger doing covers of Queen, but that's the logical conclusion of your argument, so you're sort of stuck with it. Because you can't separate out Adam from Queen, since they're billed as Queen + Adam Lambert, right? So it's Adam fronting Queen, doing Queen's music. If Adam's covering Queen, so is Queen covering Queen. If Queen isn't covering Queen, then neither is Adam, as the band's frontman. Ipso facto.

Also, poor Adam, reduced to fronting Queen. Whatever will he do? See, this is what happens to all karaoke cover singers - they end up fronting for legacy bands in full arenas. It's a very sad thing.

And what's worse is what's awaiting him when he's finished with these handful (okay, a couple dozen) of arena events. More acting, more recording, more singing, more royalties...

I'm actually considering Winnipeg, too, as it's within driving distance and is one of the few venues left with under 90% sold to date. Pretty cool that most arenas are sold out, with maybe only 3-4 left at 80-95% - and that's with expanded sections added to most! They must be raking in the dough on this event!

I seriously wonder if they will add some venues in the southeast, like Miami or Atlanta. Not that I wish for folks down there to miss it, but if they were to add additional venues, I'd by far prefer to see them in S. America, Europe, and/or Asia, with the last one(s) in the UK.

It doesn't sound like that's likely though, between Adam's schedule and tour/travel logistics. It would be much easier to add on a circuit south of Maryland at the end. I really don't think it's likely, though - they've already got a very tight schedule, and I imagine it would be pretty hard on Roger and Brian, esp. on Brian's knee. I guess the southern folks are gonna have to take a road trip.

Only a few more hours now until the email goes out on the next announcement - can't wait to see if it is indeed additional dates at the Mohegan Sun and in Jersey. Keep your fingers crossed that Chris Christy doesn't set up a traffic jam for those poor folks in Jersey!

Yee-Haw - 'Due to overwhelming demand' five new dates (and 3 new cities) have been added! ticket-seekers, start your engines! P.S. I am seriously beginning to get a bit worried for Brian and Roger. This looks like a very fatiguing schedule, with 24 dates packed into less than 6 weeks. Adam's younger, and his vocal chords seem to stand up to a lot of stress (he did >120 concerts in a very short time without any vocal problem when he toured his first album), but Brian's knee surgery is so recent. Hopefully between Ibuprofen and adrenaline all will be well.
