Why post a song that he has covered? And you wonder why some people think of him as a cover singer more than anything else.

I have now posted in all the threads that mention AL. My work here is done for the night.
Wow! I seriously hope you mean that tongue in cheek - although with the amount of AL videos you have posted on this site, I very much doubt it.
Some of AL's superfans have made this entire AL worship like some kind of cult. You do realise it is just music, right? Some of us will enjoy this and some of us will enjoy that. But in the end it is just music.
I'd rather listen to Freddie singing than go on AL sites and add comments and videos on every post that mentions Freddie or Queen. I wonder what Adam thinks of it all. He comes across as a very decent guy in his interviews and such. I do not think he comes even close to Freddie as a frontman for Queen, but again, that is just my opinion about their music. Brian, Roger and AL put on a fairly decent and entertaining show, but that is about it. Nothing at all like Queen with Freddie. But again, as I said, it is just music. So just lighten up on the AL promotion, and enjoy listening to him sing if that is your thing.
(no offence intended!)
Agree mostly with noorie. I'll never understand why some and most of the AL fans I've seen must promote the guy so much.
I'm sure when Q+AL is over with, some AL fans will be bitter to Brian and Roger. It's that way with Avicii, because a certain single with a certain someone wasn't released.
Not yet anyway ;)
I think you're right, SOWLA, LMD is likely to be a new single, perhaps this spring or summer.  Here's a recently released Lipton Ice Tea commercial with LMD, co-written by Avicii, Adam, and Nile, and sung by Adam.  It was first launched by the Dutch, and is intended for global use.  The second one was launched in Portugal, I believe, and there should be quite a few more coming up during the spring:

Chin up, Icy.  Maybe Thunder will get a sponsorship - or better yet their lead singer will get tapped for the next Queen + project - and you'll have someone to promote.  Spokesperson pay is excellent.
Oh, you edited that no one was talking to me, although someonewholikesadam replied to me above.
So what do you do here, spam/promote between AL fans? All in the hopes someone might like it. I knew that all along.
Thunder comment once again. All you are proving is that you have so little to go on.
Chin up, mithril. Someday you might see there is more than life than copying/tracking/keeping and threatening to forward posts to a legal commission all because I disagreed with you about AL.
Such butt hurt then as you have now.

1. Look on page 1.
2. Actually I think all the peeps filling the arenas are doing just fine on that.
3. Really, I hope one day an artist you like can get a great gig on Glee or with Queen or as a backdrop to movies and commercials, or a Billboard #1 album. As a fan of someone who has all of that, I can tell you it feels fantastic.

Most artists/people I like would not appear on Glee. Do you think that is a good career move for AL to be on a show past it's prime? I don't. Feels fantastic to see AL do yet more covers and very little acting on Glee?
With Queen...hopefully after these shows are over there will be no Q+ shows unless it's a tribute or charity type event. I'd rather after this tour over that Brian and Roger focus on the unheard music with Freddie,

1. I think most artists would absolutely take roles on stage and screen projects if they were interested in acting as well as singing. Sting, David Byrne and Adam Levine are just three of many, many examples. And Ryan Murphy doesn't just produce Glee - he's got American Horror Story, and no doubt another show waiting in the wings for when Glee ends. Adam has gotten rave reviews from the media for his role on this show, regardless of the declining state of the show itself. I'll bet you he shows up on another of RM's shows or elsewhere in the not too distant future (probably after his 3rd album drops).
2. Glee is a television show about people singing covers, so yeah, of course I feel fantastic about it. I don't have the obsession you have with actors covering songs on a tv show, nor with artists covering songs in their own concerts. It's about as normal as it can be for everyone.
3. I hope Queen puts out new material with Freddie, too. Until then, I'm thrilled that Brian and Roger have chosen Adam as their frontman for this tour. It's a real honor that such legendary artists hold him and his talent in such high regard.

I'm not obsessed, surely you can tell the difference between discussing and obsession on any topic.
There you go speaking like a spokesperson again. I know Queen is legendary. Brian and Roger sing AL's praises, does not mean I have to think he is a good fit for them.

Many well-known artists (actors and singers) have appeared throughout the years on Glee. I recently saw an old episode of the show with Idina Menzel playing Lea Michele's mother. Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth have been guests as well as Neil Patrick Harris and many others, all singing cover songs. I think Adam is in good company with the caliber of guests who have appeared on that show. The untimely and sad death of Cory Monteith has been an unexpected blow to the show, but they have carried on very bravely and Adam has provided some exciting and enjoyable moments for them and is highly regarded by the other members of the cast. Lea has had her wish to sing with him fulfilled, just recently, and it will be interesting to see how the show is transformed in its sixth and last season as it leaves its high school location behind. Adam has also appeared on "Pretty Little Liars" singing his own music--"Cuckoo" and as a host of the VH-1 Divas show. He has proven to be quite versatile in what he has pursued. A movie role in a musical would be fantastic. Okay, PR over for the moment. I get very positive feedback from people when I wear my Adam t-shirts to the grocery store! They all say, "oh I love him, too!" I love that old song, "You've got to accentuate the positive, Eliminate the negative, Latch on to the affirmative, Don't mess with Mister In-Between!" Adam is an amazingly positive person despite some of the criticism he gets, and has been a positive role model for many. That's why his fans are always hopeful and happy for him when something positive happens for him! If that is PR or being a spokesperson, so what? It's all good and happy fun!

Here's the promo for the last Glee show that Adam will be in this season on Tuesday, April 1st:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-P4qvNbceE&feature=youtu.be

From a recent article about Glee:

"It's been reported that this week will see American Idol star Adam finishing with the hit Fox musical drama, which we're pretty gutted about we have to admit. He's been a brilliant addition to the cast this year."

1. Have you actually ever seen Sting's role in Dune? Now that was campy comedy. Apparently you missed that role of cheese.
2. I don't care what you think of Glee and Finn. I don't care that Glee is going downhill. All I care about is that Adam has been lauded by RM and the media for his role, has gotten a good paycheck out of it, and plenty of exposure to both a great demographic of viewers and a whole bunch of other producers of movies and tv. His mgmt. says he now has a lot of offers on the table - and yup, that's what I care about. I hope he takes whichever ones he wants, and discards what he doesn't want - as I'm sure he'll do, since he appears to be a business savvy and self-aware human being.
3. I do recognize the difference between obsession and simple discussion. Clearly you're obsessed, because anyone tuned into the entertainment industry would know that virtually all artists do covers - including Queen. You seem to think it's an extremely strange thing and can't seem to get past it. To me that's obsession.
4. I'm a fan of Adam and his talent, so again, while you seem to think saying positive things about an artist you like is unusual, I see it as completely logical. On the other hand to obsess about someone you don't like seems completely irrational to me. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
5. I don't care what you think of Adam and his role as frontman for Queen. Why should I? You don't go to the concerts, so from an economic stand-point you are irrelevant to the success of this tour. I only care that Brian and Roger want him in this role, that Adam's on-board with the plan, and that the arenas are selling out and adding on. That spells success to me.

Given the heading for this thread, which is pretty broad and a bit crazy, I assume just about any topic is okay as long as it touches on Adam, so here's one for you.

Are you familiar with the BlindGossip site? They've got a 3-part clue about Glee. Go here to see it (you need to arrow from part 1 to 2 to 3 at the top of the page):

In part 1 they talk about a scandal involving three of the major actors of Glee, two of whom are trying (supposedly) to oust the third. The clues get more specific in parts 2 and 3. Two other players of Glee have gotten caught in the cross-fire.

If you look at the comments below the pieces, you'll see people trying to guess the show and players. Here's the run-down based on conventional wisdom (if you can call online comments wise):

1. Show is Glee.
2. Actor 1 is Chris Colfer - he wants Darren Criss gone. Apparently he hates him, and thinks his character (Kurt) deserves a more handsome, better love interest than Blaine.
3. Actress 1 is Lea Michelle - she's his wingman in trying to get DC ousted.
4. Co-star is Darren Criss - the one they want gone.
5. Actress 2 is Naya Revera, who was going to phase out her role on Glee slowly. The show decided that they didn't want to lose two main characters at once (NY and DC) so instead they gave her the bum's rush to get out early, hence the reason she's phasing out now. She's pissed.
6. Actor 2 is Adam Lambert. Apparently CC wanted Eliot to be Kurt's new love interest, but Adam is a no drama obama and wants nothing to do with this mess. Apparently they wanted to offer him a regular role in Season 6 but he's declined because of the big behind the scenes mess and drama.

I have no idea if these blind gossip things are accurate or just a pile of speculative shit, but I'm highly entertained by all the fans of Glee going apeshit over it. Many of them are huge Kurt/Blaine shippers. They think DC is in the closet although he's clearly stated he's straight and has a girlfriend (who the shippers think is a beard of course, being cray as shippers generally are). Anyway, these shippers, along with the DC fans are seriously pressed and going bonkers over their favorite characters and actors. Also, to make things more interesting, Adam and Lea have known each other for a long time and are old friends (or acquaintences, at least) which explains why she wanted him in and DC out. But Adam and DC are also friends, so that explains Adam's reluctance to have anything to do with these shenanigans.

It's a hot mess and hilarious to boot. Now that's entertainment! My guess is that we'll see Adam in a guest role on American Horror Story next season.
