The next issue of Rolling Stone will have a feature story about the QAL summer arena tour, titled
'QUEEN HIT THE ARENAS WITH AN IDOL ON VOCALS'.
The pic is a close shot of Brian and Adam from one of the Hammersmith gigs, with Roger on drums behind them:

Thanks, can't wait to get my issue! I saw on-line that KISS are on the cover and it is the first time after all of these years. Guess we should be happy that Adam made it to that cover the first year he was on the scene, not to mention all of the other magazine covers since then:

Adam, KISS and Queen in this issue of RR - now there's a full circle moment for Adam, since he sang with both during he AI finale.

Ha! Things are slowing down at that other website--they're not racking up 10 pages a day anymore so they are coming here where the "excitement" seems to be!

I read that forum, but I never post there. It's full of old, butthurt people. If they didn't have the Adam fans to argue with they'd eat their own young.
That's been happening a lot since little by little Adam fans have gone into lurk mode there. I think they only flooded the site to get the presale codes and venue info. They'll probably be gone once they've got what they need. It seems like there's a lot more actual Queen discussion on the Adam boards these days anyway, because so many younger people want to know about Queen and don't like the nursing home. Imagine not knowing about Queen! Some people's kids lolol!
I don't even think of that place as a Queen site any more, since even the so-called Queen fans do nothing but slag Queen off - and that was happening before the QAL collaboration was born. I think it's been going on ever since the QPR collab, and is probably part of the whole eating your young thing.
It's equal parts disturbing and entertaining to be honest. There's a whole lot of GET OFF MY LAWN YOU DANG KIDS! going on over there.
Are you able to post there? Yet you read, still keeping track I guess. So called Queen fans now? Sheesh, have you tried the once discussing Queen with Freddie with the other posters. I think not. You pretty much stuck to the AL related threads in all your time over there.
So, how's your lawn doing? Ever get your ball back?

Wasn't so much an inclination towards LIKING Bieber, it was meant more like how much extreme fangasming they exert in support of a certain artist.

Well, if 23 years after Adam passes away, there is still "extreme fangasming" over him like there still is over Freddie, I guess it will be said that he, too, was an icon and a legend!

AL has a very, very long way to go before he is called an icon and legend.

From what I've read Bieber's fans have nothing on many Glamberts.
I just love {sarcasm} how it's called so called Queen fans now. That from an above poster who couldn't be bothered to discuss Queen without AL on another board. The crap from their heads to their fingers again.

Since this thread is upside down and hijacked I have no idea why I'm going on with it, but what the hell, no one ever accused me of being an intellect.
I'm not very good at business. I thought the object of business was to make money with a product that people wanted. Apparently I have no idea what I am talking about because 19 Records and Adam Lambert "parted ways" over "creative differences" after two albums of original material. Why in God's name (answer to follow) would a money making entity allow a multi platform (Broadway, TV, rock and roll star) talent, with a ridiculously dedicated fan base (the Glamdaddies), a package so monstrous that it has its own handle (the Spambulge), and opening week sales records in North-South-North Bolivia (south north state only) and 17 districts in Lapland be allowed to walk away? Because you, corporate soul suckers 19 Records or Entertainment, want the artist called Adam McMultiplaformBulgebuster Lambert to be a robot who has to do an alum of 80s covers? Why? Whyyyyyyyy?????????
Why? Because once the Adambabies download his album in week 1 (apparently 184,000 of them bought Trespassing in week 1 according to Wikipedia, then he sold 1,000 copies to the rest of the fan club who have dial-up), you realize, this guy has no traction as an artist with the public. 185,000 albums of a second album, tons of hype, the American Idol machine around him and that's all he sells in the US? If I were the record label I'd be pushing for a cover version to help recoup my investment. Adam Lambert is a guy with a nice voice who couldn't write a decent (forget good) song to save his life. He made his name as a karaoke contestant, he can hit the notes, doesn't understand what they mean but hey, he can get up there. If he's all that and a bag of fucking chips, why would anyone want to part ways with him???
Why? Because he's an artistic lightweight with no gravitas, that's why!!! :) :) :)
PS, I think it's great that Brian and Roger are touring and hope that everyone who goes has a smashing time. My opinion on who sings is meaningless, and they're sure as hell not listening to me. Or the people who love Adam Lambert and his ManSack ;)
Ha! You aren't around to spam the place. You call not many posts in a day or 2 slowing down. Wow, I'm sure people have joined just to give their two cents and hope for codes. Have you noticed that many people in this thread have been around here for years now? Erin, inu liger, the thread starter. Yaff has also been here for awhile. Another poster hasn't posted in some time. You are just here because you are banned elsewhere, so that explains that. I don't know why taptap hasn't posted on QOL for nearly a year.
So far, I'm the only newbie here. I wonder if you think before posting. I think not.
"You are just here because you are banned elsewhere"
And that pretty much sums it up. CNB had PLENTY of time while she was an 'active' user at QOL to join QZ and never did prior to the ban. However, when it came time for the hammer to fall on her trolling over there, oh how convenient it was that Carol should jump on over here 'cos god forbid closing a convenient outlet for her Lamberistic fetish was too much for her ego to take.
Well, when people like icy run to the mods when they think they have been offended instead of just teased, that's how I have been banned. I owe it all to her! Actually it is the Adam fans who are the kindest to Brian and Roger these days because the hatred for Adam seems to extend to them as well. I really just discovered QZ and so far it has been far more friendly until the QOL crybabies showed up!

I ran to no mods. Are you really going to say your ban was my fault? I didn't realise you were banned until reading about it here.
Who the hell hates AL or Brian and Roger over there? No one has ever posted any such thing.
QOL crybabies. There has only been me joining here, and no I'm no crybaby. It's remarkable how you spin things to suit you.
No, you go everywhere you can find to promote AL.
Get off the internet if it bothers you so much, but don't blame me for your ban.

^ This. Never mind her spinning her tale, as she did as recently with the post I quoted above. No one has ever said they hated AL, or Brian and Roger. I'm pretty sure we all can read the same things, but it stops at how some people take it in.
To use the excuse she was joking in her last post. But now to say now she owes the ban to me.
What frickin' planet does she live on?
